Tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy is gaining ground in the Republican presidential primary election with a recent poll showing him breaking into double-digit numbers as he closes in on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for second place behind former President Donald Trump.
While Gov. Ron DeSantis' poll numbers are falling, Ramaswamy's popularity is increasing among voters, with an Echelon Insights poll finding that Ramaswamy improved his poll numbers by 2 percent, while DeSantis' numbers saw a 3 percent decrease.

Go vivek!
This poll is not believable, besides, he is not eligible as a anchor baby of two Indian nationals.
I guess I have underestimated Ron’s charisma deficit. Vivek is impressive and Trump should consider him for VP if he doesn’t choose a woman which I still think is likely.
I was part of this or maybe another poll... I gave my support to Vivek to get him an increase and some more attention. I’ll support Trump first though.
I think after the Obamanation or Desolation the natural born argument has lost validity. If he was born here and his parents were legal residents I think he would be found eligible. But Ted Cruz is not.
He was born in Indiana or Cincinnati.....tell me you details.
Ramaswamy is running for VP. But he is a much more likable candidate than DeSantis. DeSantis should have backed Trump and set his eyes on 2028. But he sold his soul to the establishment. He’s not ready for prime time. His campaign is a creepy disaster. Now he’s burning the bridges to 2028.
“Martha, the boy is a Lead Balloon”
You are looking at the VP candidate because someone is going to have to translate Trump’s word salad into complete sentences…
Both his parents were Indian nationals when he was born. He is an anchor, baby. He is, therefore not eligible, if anybody even wanted to vote for him.
That ship has sailed.
I can’t wait for Trump to trash him like a child. Or will he, since Vivek is a of a darker shade? Plus Vivek likely is 40 points higher in the IQ department...
No, it just has not gotten popper justice in a court. If he were to get the nomination, I guarantee you the Democrats would rightfully question his eligibility.
This comes closest to what I think about the DeSantis campaign so far.
Same here. Vivek has potential but seems a bit bright-eyed and bushy tailed for the battle from 2024-2028.
If he was either VP or a cabinet secretary he could see the beast from the inside. Then he would be better prepared for battle.
But Ted’s mother was an American citizen, even though he was born in Canada.
John McCain was born in Panama but still was natural born
Part of these debates about natural born citizenship are that nobody really knows exactly what that terminology means.
Realistically ,unless someone ever files a lawsuit to try to keep someone from running for president, the issue will never get resolved.
we’re past all that NBC stuff
Hey, OBAMA broke that ceiling.
