Ice cream company Ben & Jerry's sparked outrage with a July 4th tweet calling for the United States to return 'stolen indigenous land' starting with giving Mount Rushmore back to the Lakota Sioux tribe.
The company, which was founded by longtime Bernie Sanders allies Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenwood but has since been sold to British multinational Unilever, tweeted the message to its 494,000 followers.
'This 4th of July, it's high time we recognize that the US exists on stolen Indigenous land and commit to returning it,' the company's official account wrote.
Outrage was swift on social media following the tweet, with many disgusted by what they saw as anti-American sentiment on a day meant to celebrate the United States.
One commenter compared their statement to Bud Light partnering with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney - which saw the beer giant lose upwards of $20million in sales after causing massive controversy - and using the hashtag #boycottbenandjerrys.

You have not answered the question of whether a Jewish woman who leaves her religion, who is a reprobate and cosorts with Gentiles, who dies and is buried in a Christian cemetery is still a Jew. If she is, then ethnicity trumps religion, and that is what I’m trying to discern.

If you are not Jewish, then of what relevance to the Jewish faith is your definition. And even if you are, that does not elevate you to pontific authority over defining other Jews. Each faith defines its membership, just as the Elk Lodge or the Knights of Columbus define theirs.

Schumer, Nadler and Schiff can’t telling you who is Jewish. Neither can you. Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi can, and they have the Torah as their authority. None of that is inconsistent with the US Constitution. But there were Jews long before there was a US Constitution, or the New World was even discovered.

My point exactly. What was "bizarre" about what I posted? Nor was it anti-semitic, when the subject was that those being observant of the Jewish religion are a different kind of person than those ethnic Jews who are not observant. These days, some ethnic Jews even despise Israel and side with the Palestinian whiners and murderers.
Because an individual leftist may be Jewish does not mean my distaste for their politics is ethnically based—it's not. It's about beliefs. I find the militant pagans of all ethnicities distasteful.
It sounds like you grew up without a firm grounding in your ethnicity or your religion, and you are still trying to sort our the difference between kinship and belief. It can be a vast difference; and that is true in every type of family.
And the feeling I get, a strong feeling, is that the Bolsheviks I mention are not “Jews.”
