My point exactly. What was "bizarre" about what I posted? Nor was it anti-semitic, when the subject was that those being observant of the Jewish religion are a different kind of person than those ethnic Jews who are not observant. These days, some ethnic Jews even despise Israel and side with the Palestinian whiners and murderers.
Because an individual leftist may be Jewish does not mean my distaste for their politics is ethnically based—it's not. It's about beliefs. I find the militant pagans of all ethnicities distasteful.
It sounds like you grew up without a firm grounding in your ethnicity or your religion, and you are still trying to sort our the difference between kinship and belief. It can be a vast difference; and that is true in every type of family.
