A shortage of cancer drugs is forcing doctors to confront the reality that some patients could die needlessly.
“Lives will be shortened,” Dr. Patrick Timmins III, a gynecologic oncologist at Women’s Cancer Care Associates in Albany, New York, told the Atlantic. “A lot of people are going to be hurt,” he added. “I’ve been doing this forever, and this is absolute lunacy.”

Some of these are nonprescription drugs, like cold and flu medicines. But life-saving drugs for cancer patients are also not available. The drug shortage is so extreme that it’s a national security threat, according to a recent Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee report.

The causes of the drug shortage are varied, but most experts point to the glaring gaps in the drug supply chain as a primary cause. One foreign manufacturer, Indian drugmaker Intas Pharmaceuticals, was cited during a Food and Drug Administration inspection in November 2022 for numerous safety and quality-control problems. After their manufacturing facility closed, the world was suddenly caught in a supply chain nightmare, as Intas was a primary source of chemotherapy drugs.

Please list Rx drugs available in the U.S. and manufactured in China (we know of one from the article). Do not list ingredients; only completed drugs.

This mentality is why it happened.
In the event of a major war, the USA would need those industries to convert from civilian to military production, like WW2.
That’s the harm.
My impression from reading the online anecdotes is that if IP6 were ever fully tested by the government it might drive Sloan-Kettering into bankruptcy. But I can’t prove it, which I suspect is the whole point of them not testing it.

It seems as though IP6 cured the cancer but she died anyway due to her medical care.
“In october my father was diagnosed with advanced stage small cell lung cancer. The caner had metastasized to his liver, pancreas, lymph nodes, adrenal gland and a couple ribs. His doctor gave him two months to live. That was in October.
He recommended chemo to prolong his life.
A family friend talked to our local health food store owner and she told her we really needed to try this stuff because lots of her customer had shown great results. She was charging $80 which I knew couldn’t be right so I looked here. Of course..much cheaper. Ordered it right away.
My father has been using it twice a day since he started chemo. He mixes it with water and a little aloe.
As of his last pet scan two weeks ago (in January) the tumor in his lung has shrunk from over 5cm to a little over 3cm and the cancer has resolved itself in all other locations. His doctor seems pretty amazed considering how aggressive small cell lung cancer is.”
It goes on and on like that, but of course none of it is “medical proof” that IP6 works.

I would not have a complete list of which are manufactured in China and India. But I know that there are a number of these drugs that are expensive here that are available from India. And it is a fact that 80% of our drugs are manufactured in other countries.
Must be why the assholes stalled my husband’s chemo and had test after test until it was too late. Got to spread the money around to consultants, radiologist, blood test. They put a MetaPort in and he died the same day in Hospice. They said they wasn’t sure how to go about it but it was obvious to us.
There’s a lot of info out there. There’s one thing though that’s a common denominator. The doctors and pharmacists are not in it for us. They’re in it for the money. I’ll trust God, and I’ll never trust a doctor again, especially after the last few years.
I hope your wife is doing better. I think some of these solutions require an early catch as well. I’m not a doctor, just a pissed off infantry vet.

Good luck to your friend, whatever treatment she decides on. IP6 is best taken on an empty stomach without food.
