Titanic families slam ‘disgusting’ tours — shipwreck should be treated as ‘graveyard’

Relatives of people aboard the ill-fated Titanic cruise liner, which sank in 1912, say tourist trips to the shipwreck site — like those offered by the missing OceanGate Titan sub — are “disgusting” and disrespectful to those who perished in the disaster.

The wreckage should be treated like an underwater “graveyard” of the 1,496 who died, not a “Disneyland” for adventure-seeking tourists, the family members told the Daily Beast.

Now THATS a neat trick. Good that you go to visit her, though.

I kind of agree that we should leave the Titanic to rest in peace.

One of the great problems we have today is that we no longer consider anything sacred.

Right on cue for those hypothesizing that this Rothschild-funded mission was intended to reinforce the new treaty to make this site off limits without special permission, given that the story of ice cutting through an inch of steel is bogus and survivor stories fit with a bomb explosion to bring down the 4 banking families on board who were opposing the Rothschild’s Federal Reserve Bank.

But do they plunder from the graves and put the items up for auction?

It seems to me that visiting a grave in reverence is one thing; but going to the bottom of the sea for a thrill is completely different.

Those people didn’t want to honor the dead so much as they wanted to put a notch on their ‘explorer’ belts.

You could say the same of Buddy Holly.

Or the sad crash sites on the cliffs in Grand Canyon. They don’t get visited much either. Cliff face and all. Still wreckage there, though.

Some of us are just feeling empathy. It’s fascinating to see what happened (sort of “bottle-necking” as in car accidents), and sometimes we feel a connection and need to feel the sympathy for the victims.

Oh Lord.

Just like 9/11. (Melting steel)

It didn’t have to “cut” steel though it could do that - it had to weaken rivets, which are everywhere on that steel plating.

It seems odd but it’s really human nature. The macabre attracts curiosity seekers. Haunted houses and things like that. And the free market encourages the Barnum and Bailey’s of the world to sell access to see such things.

I’m just saying this feeds into that narrative.

As to 9/11, simple physics blows apart the official story.
