Trump: ‘I Did’ Hire the Best People and Most of My Hires Were Good, But ‘I Didn’t Know’ Washington Like I Do Now
Breitbart ^ | 06/19/2023 | Ian hatchett

During a portion of an interview with the Fox News Channel aired on Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump responded to questions on why he hired so many people who he has now criticized or have criticized him by stating the overwhelming majority of people he hired were good hires, he did hire the best people, and that he “didn’t know” Washington, but does now.

This is actually one legitimate criticism of Trump. A lot of his hires were terrible.

He tried to work with the RINO Establishment. He was naive. Of course, the rest of us were too. We know better now. We know what corrupt, lying, backstabbing scum they are now. We also have a much better idea just how corrupt almost all federal agencies are now.

One of the big reasons I support Trump 100% is having learned a lot of these lessons the hard way, I think he would go scorched earth on our enemies in the Deep State during his 2nd term.....mass firings, entire corrupt federal agencies abolished, powers curtailed/stripped away from them, budgets slashed, agencies scattered to the four winds and forced to relocate away from the DC Swamp to America instead, and in an ideal world, the DC Circuit abolished and folded into another federal circuit. Fire every single US Attorney.

Oh, and Assange, Snowden, other Deep State whistleblowers and the Jan 6 political prisoners freed. Then the latter to file a massive class action lawsuit. The DOJ FORCED by President Trump to offer a GENEROUS settlement and admit its full guilt. Then use that admission to rip through the DOJ like a hurricane firing every Leftist in sight.

No more trannies in the military. Anybody with the words "diversity" or "equity" or "inclusiveness" in their title to be fired immediately. Come up with lists of known Leftists and fire them all immediately. Scour the social media postings of every single officer in the entire military. Any who support Leftist causes - fire them immediately. Take a close look at who teaches at the academies. Fire most of them. Put the physical fitness standards and other standards right back up to where they were. FORCE the pentagon to take back every single last one of the troops they got rid of for not taking the clot shot - and furthermore award them back pay for the entire time of their separation - and take them back at their former ranks and in their former MOS. YES! Shove every single last bit of that right down the Pentagon's throat! Anybody who complains about it gets fired on the spot. I DON'T CARE if the above means that 80% of Ring Knockers get cleaned out. Too damn bad. The military exists to kill people and break things. It has no other purpose.

Burn it to the effing ground. Trump 2024.

Nothing says “scorched earth on the swamp” like endorsing Ronna McRomney recently. Occam’s Razor says Trump just doesn’t care all that much about conservative policy and that’s why he acts as he does. Sorry.

Florida’s climate and the fact that more people than not want to live in a semi tropical paradise. And will pay 1/2 million and up up (wealthy economic base) for a home to live there.
Not true the further north you go.
IOW ya can’t make Ohio into a Florida..cause who would pay a 1/2 million to live in Ohio?

She was going to win unfortunately. She had the backing of too many of the party leaders from the states. What was Trump supposed to do - endorse somebody else and piss her off when it wouldn’t have mattered anyway? That may make you feel good, but its stupid to make futile gestures like that in politics when you might otherwise have at least some influence by endorsing the candidate who was going to win anyway.

That’s paraphrasing a quote from William F. Buckley, Jr. The original quote from 1961 was, “I Would Rather Be Governed By the First 2,000 People in the Telephone Directory than by the Harvard University Faculty”. Buckley and others used variations of the quote throughout the years. The Boston part came from Buckley in 1963, “I am obliged to confess that I should sooner live in a society governed by the first two thousand names in the Boston telephone directory than in a society governed by the two thousand faculty members of Harvard University.”

It’s really a knock against Harvard while putting down government employees. Buckley went to Yale, hence the put down of Harvard. My variation is inclusive all the recruiting grounds of government employees - the high-level ones are Ivy and Colonial League types.

Notice that I amended the Boston part in the second sentence of my quote. Things were a lot different in the early 60’s in Boston when Buckley originally said this.

Trump did a wonderful job of putting people in positions to expose themselves. He pushed a bunch of horrible people into the sunshine.

All of them, from a father, from a husband, from a single mom, from a sole proprietor all the way up to a chief executive.

Leaders rise above.

You were referring to Trump.

Once again, which political leaders of today are you referring to?
