A new poll found the economy and preserving democracy top the list of registered voters’ most important concerns when deciding who to vote for in the 2024 presidential election.
The new Quinnipiac poll found that 30 percent of respondents said the economy was the most important issue to them when deciding who to vote for. This was closely followed by the 27 percent of respondents who said preserving democracy was their top issue.
Nine percent said abortion was their top issue, while gun violence and immigration were both listed as such by seven percent of respondents. Health care and racial inequality each received the votes of five percent, while four percent said climate change was their top issue.

Right out of the rat book of BS. So we 27% of those polled were the idiots who make up the rat base.
This whole “preserving democracy” bent was started during biden’s redlight Marine address, when he labeled anyone who challenges the legitimacy of his presidential election victory a democracy-hating extremist.
His idea of “democracy” mirrors the muslims’ idea of “peace”. No dissent means we have pure democracy and peace.
I know, it just goes to show how we’ve dumbed down our education system! We are a constitutional republic, that’s it!
As far as I can see, ALL of the “top issues” are issues pushed as part of the Progressive Narrative. No one seems to want anything else. Huh. Seems kinda odd.
Still, it’s a bit heartening that the economy is still the top issue in a recession, and not “climate change” or “abortion”, no matter how much the leftie media tries to push those issues.
You can’t change human nature, and you can’t change the fact that when inflation hits and jobs dry up, the little guy knows he is being screwed and gets mad about it, looking for someone to blame.
My top priority is STOPPING democrats from turning the country into a totalitarian hellhole police state.
