Former Maine House member and Waldoboro Selectman Abden Simmons defeated a Democrat Tuesday to win election in the House District 45 race.
Simmons defeated former Rep. Wendy Pieh of Bremen 52-48%, according to the Bangor Daily News. The district covers Waldoboro, Bremen, Friendship and Washington.
Maine House Republicans hailed the victory as a sign that “things are happening in the State of Maine.”

Given that it is Maine, I assume he’s not conservative, but more of a “Susan Collins” style pubbie... So basically very little change from the Rat.

Meanwhile, here in Portland Maine the Democratic Socialists defeated a small change to our rent control ordinance 66 to 33%. The school budget that went up by $8 million passed 75/25%.
It will be another NE RINO who joins Congress.
This involves a seat in the legislature of the state of Maine, not the US House Representatives.
