Attorney Trusty, appearing on NBC on Friday morning, said Trump is ready for a battle. “He’s a fighter, and he’s going to come out swinging, and he’ll be fine,” Trusty said. “He’s not afraid of this thing.”
Hours later, in a shocking turn of events, Trusty and another attorney on the team, John Rowley, resigned from the case.

Did some of the lawyers early on say all the docs were returned?
They too have conspired with Trump to obstruct justice?

Trusty was on Fox and was very forceful in attacking the indictment. Will we ever know the full story about his resignation? Maybe he is being threatened by the special counsel.

Sounds like since this case will be held in Florida Trump needed different attorneys who specialize dealing with the state of Florida and legal matters just like this

No sure. Was he one of Trump’s lawyers forced to break attorney-client privilege and testify to the grand jury? That the way the DOJ rolls and yet another reason to cleanse the DOJ.
It is not unusual for people with means to switch attorneys for a trial. Some attorneys are “trial attorneys” and some are the attorneys you want to navigate the case pre-indictment.
Could be that simple and if there was a disagreement over strategy the client gets to decide.
Lawyers don’t like to find out THEY were misled, and in turn, misled the investigators.
Defense attorneys have an obligation to not lie to the court. That type of stuff lead to suspensions and disbarment. They avoid that stuff.
Defending yourself and your client is now obstruction of justice.
Well, for conservatives and Donald Trump.
Silly lawyers are still living in the past - they thought they would just argue the law, and impartial judges, juries and public opinion would win the day. And in the evening, they would go home to their nice houses in Bethesda or Potomac and that would be that.
They didn’t realize they are now active combatants in a war.
I wonder what they were threatened with?
