The issue isn't whether or not Nixon deserved to be taken out by what we now call the "Deep State" (I like the Russian term "the organs" better (it's shorthand for "the organs of State Security").

What a generally fine thread of clear thinking individuals. The RINOs atop the RINO establishment are in a big rush to attack a Republican such that their RINO voices are almost absent criticism of Democrats and especially Biden and this corrupt third term of the Obama folks.

When these RINOs -- "in name only" is so very apt -- erupt and declare themselves as did Hutchinson, it is assured that their political future as Republicans able to win a next elected office diminishes dramatically. On FR I have offered a potential solution to Trump’s problems and the two-tiered justice system.

Trump is going to be convicted of crimes, in multiple cases most likely, he could very well end up in prison. The question is what can be done to help him, at this time virtually nothing, long term I think the solution is to fight fire with fire, the next Republican POTUS or some Red State Governor, needs to launch an all out investigation and prosecution of Joe Biden and his family.

The Democrats prosecute Trump, The Republicans prosecute Biden, basically mutually assured destruction from both sides, until the Democrats fear reprisals, they will not stop.

What’s your solution besides slinging insults and offering nothing.
