A frequent donor to the NRA and Republican politicians and causes told reporters that he lost several family members when a private jet crashed after flying through restricted airspace Sunday.
John Rumpel told The Washington Post that his “entire family” was on board the Cessna Citation that crashed near Montebello, Virginia, around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Multiple outlets, including The New York Times, reported that Rumpel’s daughter, 2-year-old granddaughter, and a nanny went down with the plane, as well as a pilot.

It’s happened before, but is still suspicious these days, especially with the democrats propensity to be involved in so many *accidents*, *suicides*, and *disappearances*.
That is one egregious headline..................
Payne Stewart redux
Pro Golfer, Stuart Payne died in a similar scenario. He was in a Learjet.
Certainly some kind of medical emergency. Loss of cabin pressure is what happened to Paine Stewart some years ago.
But don’t the passengers mercifully die before the plane crashes??
I remember the Payne Stewart incident like it was yesterday. They filmed the jet in the air knowing the passengers inside were dead before the plane crashed.
That’s how champion pro golfer, Payne Stewart, died. The private plane he was in lost cabin pressure and flew on its own almost all the way across the US from Florida in a northwesterly direction until it ran out of fuel and crashed. All aboard perished. US fighter planes escorted it all the way but, of course, could do nothing to prevent the crash.
what a crap headline...this appears to be the same issue that killed the people in the Payne Stewart plane...
Nothing definitive yet but it’s thought the jet lost cabin pressure before anyone could don an oxygen mask so everyone went to sleep, including the pilot.

I’ve been hoping this would happen to all the Davos group’s jets next time they fly into one of their mass-murder plotting meetings.
I don’t think the headline is bad. In fact it summarizes the entire incident, including the family and relationship to Trump is one sentence. Someone did an amazing job with that.
How much of it is relevant at this time could be debated though.
I’m surprised they didn’t say they stopped the plane from intentionally crashing into the White House.
Yes, it sure is. Also, almost all the news 'reporting' focused on the sonic boom over DC while all but totally ignoring the tragedy that a young mother, her 2-hear-old child and two other adults were killed in the crash. DC is a cesspool of the deepest, darkest, rottenest kind.
whoa...I forgot to look at it with my beer goggles on...
In what was an obvious tragedy, they construct the headline ot make it seem like Trump's donors were "attacking DC" and had to get shot down by F-16s.
This is why I completely stay away from all mainsteam media.
Reminds me of an old OLD Steve Canyon TV show “Operation Intercept” Episode aired Mar 31, 1959” where he has to shoot down an American Plane headed for the USSR.
If this is the one I recall from decades ago, some target shooters accidentally shot holes in the aircraft causing those aboard to die in flight.
DANG what a Memory I have at 76!
That’s what I’m thinking.
A Citation is a big enough jet to (typically) require two pilots.
Something would have to take out both.
Or perhaps they both had the fish.
Not sure if they’re dead but they are unconscious due to oxygen starvation (hypoxia). There is oxygen at that altitude but not enough to sustain consciousness.
Pilots usually spend time in altitude chambers to learn their symptoms of hypoxia so they can recognize it and put on their oxygen masks on before they pass out. But it sneaks up on you. For me it feels like hot flashes at first then I act loopy, like a happy drunk.
I wonder if that aircraft had a depressurization alarm.
So basically, the headline admonishes those who may feel some empathy for this family because they were “TRUMP donors, “don’t feel bad, they deserved it”
