Journalist and political analyst Chuck Todd is stepping down as moderator of NBC’s “Meet The Press,” the network announced on Sunday.
Todd, who has held the position since 2014, will be replaced by reporter and anchor Kristen Welker, NBC News President of Editorial Rebecca Blumenstein and NBC News Senior Vice President of Politics Carrie Budoff Brown wrote to staff in a memo early Sunday.

The last decent host of the show was Tim Russert, who at least appeared to be objective. Chuck Todd was just a leftist stodge. I doubt his replacement will be much better.
I used to watch the Sunday news shows religiously until 1995 or so. By then, I had concluded that it was just a big DC echo chamber.

I've noticed the media move toward more women has gone into hyperdrive lately. Not that I watch it a lot but I notice how much they use emotive words in their reports.:
"Tonight a chilling and scary report on home burglaries..."
Can't leave you to think for yourself. We have take your hand and tell you what emotions to have about it.
I guess with women in all the anchor positions you can't have scandals like Matt Lauer or Don Lemon.

theyll never learn...females can do the weather and soft reporting. But when they go into hard stories/politics, they just come off as bitchy and annoying. Theyve tried all the biggies, Sawyer, Couric etc...and it just doesnt work. Facts are facts, what can i say...
