The FBI improperly used warrantless search powers against U.S. citizens more than 278,000 times in the year ending November 2021, according to an unsealed Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) filing.
U.S. citizens covered in that improper effort included people involved in the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021; George Floyd protesters during the summer of 2020; and donors to a failed congressional candidate, the filing said.

No one will get a reprimand in their file, let alone go to jail. Frankly, dozens of people should lose their jobs, pensions and freedom for this egregious violation of the Constitution that they are all sworn to “preserve, protect and defend.”
That no judge has tossed out these cases based on the “fruit of the poisonous tree” doctrine also says a lot. The only conclusion that can be reasonably drawn is that there is a 2-tiered judicial system, something that should be impossible. It is a wonder of modern conditioning techniques that so many people still abide by our obviously corrupt system.
I am not aware of ANY prominent public figure consistently acting in support of these victims of tyranny.

That is why any expansion of government power must be examined according to how it will inevitably be ABUSED. That the present government will use it to pursue and eliminate genuine enemies of We the People is not the only issue. That the next government, consisting of power-hungry corruptocrats, will abuse it is often a more important consideration.
The over-use, misuse, and corrupt abuse of RICO and Civil Asset Forfeiture must serve as a cautionary tale.

If you are talking about an Article V convention it is NOT A CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION! It’s a means of introducing Constitutional Amendments to the states for ratification in exactly the same as amendments passed by Congrees are introduced to the states. It just by passes Congress. Same percent of states needed to ratify each ammendment (3/4) as the ones coming from Congress. Also it’s call an Article V convention because it’s Article V in the US Constitution so a totally legitimate means of getting ammendments public and to the states for ratification.
The great fear that the whole shebang will come crashing down should we do that is real with the forces of communism having already overtaken so many institutions, but I have foolish faith that God and the better instincts of our chosen representatives wouldn't allow it to be reduced to a faster slide to self-destruction.
My main worry about an Article V COS is the media.
The original convention it was agreed among the delegates that there would be no press. They pretty much kept to that. How do you keep today’s media out? If involved, how did you keep them from turnout it into a 3-way cross between a circus, a political convention and the Super Bowl?
I'm saying a Convention of States could demonstrate to the masses how using chosen representatives is far wiser than depending on the same process that determines televised popular singer contests. Allowing media access to the decisive events of the Convention would give citizens the feeling of participation, seeing their chosen representatives there as avatars of their interests and welfare.
With skillful production and editing it could engage even the dimmest of our citizenry while re-establishing a nationwide passion for civics and responsible government. I'm all for voting the traitors off the island and having a bailiff whack their peepees.
These convention delegates should not be anyone in office, no academics and no current government employees of any stripe (Fed, State, local). I would forbid past public office holders or government employees.
As Jefferson, inspired by others, intended all along. Amen.
Not just someone - everyone who even looked at these requests should be in prison. They all take the same oath as fed employees
If they used it 278,000 times, they are not using it improperly anymore.
