If you are talking about an Article V convention it is NOT A CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION! It’s a means of introducing Constitutional Amendments to the states for ratification in exactly the same as amendments passed by Congrees are introduced to the states. It just by passes Congress. Same percent of states needed to ratify each ammendment (3/4) as the ones coming from Congress. Also it’s call an Article V convention because it’s Article V in the US Constitution so a totally legitimate means of getting ammendments public and to the states for ratification.

Yes, Article V Convention. A little too wrapped up in the message to look it up again but I was thinking more of the Convention of States where term limits, constraints on Federal powers and limits on spending are established.

The great fear that the whole shebang will come crashing down should we do that is real with the forces of communism having already overtaken so many institutions, but I have foolish faith that God and the better instincts of our chosen representatives wouldn't allow it to be reduced to a faster slide to self-destruction.
