Trans influencers find it harder to get deals after Bud Light’s Dylan Mulvaney fiasco
NY Post ^ | May 18, 2023 | Dana Kennedy

Posted on 05/19/2023 4:27:35 AM PDT by DoodleBob

...But now, after the backlash against Bud Light’s decision to partner with Mulvaney on social media and feature her face on beer cans, other trans influencers say they’re feeling the heat as well.

Some told The Post that, at a time when they are usually in high demand — the period leading up to Pride Month in June — brand partnership offers are drying up.

Rose Montoya, who has 1 million followers on TikTok and Instagram, said she’s noticed a big drop-off in the number of deals she’s been offered.

Prior to Pride Month last year, Montoya — a Seattle University graduate who bills herself as a content creator, trans advocate, model and actress — was getting up to 100 brand partnerships thrown her way. Now, she said, it’s been reduced to a trickle of maybe 12 or so offers.

...

While she noted that “the market has also become over-saturated with influencers since 2000,” Montoya added that “the average queer creative makes all their money in June —enough to live on for the rest of the year. And the fact that there’s been a chill probably isn’t helped by the whole Bud Light thing.”

Montoya said that she can get up to $15,000 for a brand partnership. Some of her contracts are for six months at a time, and she hopes to renew one of those soon.

...

“Bud Light lost their conservative demographic but, in their damage control response, they also alienated and lost their queer supporters,” Deran told The Post. “I’ve noticed a shift for sure in the deals I’m being offered. But I hope once Pride Month is upon us, these companies will remember that the LBGTQ+ community has money and power and needs them.”

Why don’t they pretend they are billionaires? Problem solved.

Frankly, I don’t give a damn about any of these cross-dressing posers. The only thing they influence for me is a strong gag reflex.

One should not forget that the Biden White House invited Mulvaney to be among their “influencers.”

we went from live and let live, . . .

Exactly--thanks to Barry and Michael Soetoro where there was once tolerance, there is now forced acceptance.

we OWN your kids

In all honesty, it has been that way for DECADES. It's only recently come to wider light, chiefly via parents observing Zoom classes and having a WTF awakening during the pandemic.

In loco parentis has been weakening parental rights for a LONG time. Parents went along with it because they liked two incomes more than their progeny's mental state, and peer pressure against homeschooling.

Now that it is "cool" to homeschool, parents are willing to shun the educational-industrial complex. Nonetheless, many parents STILL send Mary and Johnny to indoctrination centers.

Over time, the numbers of HSers should continue to grow. But make no mistake about it...this has been going on for a LONG time. That's said, I welcome them to the party.

This kind of idiocy on the part of top level business executives is the natural outcome of America’s top colleges losing their way and becoming indoctrination centers for leftist ideology staffed by radicals, communists and globalists.

Here's the secret, the big companies don't really care about the message, they care about which image brings in the $$$.
Now that the tranny image failed to bring in the $$$, they will try something else.
As they noticed, there is an overabundance of "influencers", they will just pick another one.
Wholesome or ridiculous is up to the customers really, marketing departments are mostly made up of idiots.

marketing departments are mostly made up of idiots.

I know some really good marketing folks.

That said, to your comment, may I present Exhibit A: Ms Heinerscheid's own words when she focused on Bud Light's "more resonant and meaningful" Super Bowl commercial

25:11..."Yeah! I....I think number one...you know...I'm a businesswoman...I had a really clear job to do, when I took over Bud Light. And....it was...this brand is in decline, it's been in decline for a really long time. And if we do not attract...young drinkers, to come and drink this brand, there will be no future for Bud Light. So I had this super clear mandate. Like, we need to evolve and elevate, this incredibly iconic brand. And...my...what I brought to that, was a belief in...ok, what does "evolve and elevate" mean? It's means INCLUSIVTY. It means shifting the tone. It means having a campaign that's truly inclusive and feels lighter and brighter and different and appeals to women and to men. And representation is at sort of at the heart of evolution. You've got see people who reflect you, in the work. We had this hangover...I mean...Bud Light had been...kind of a brand of...fratty...kind of out of touch humor...and, it was REALLY important that we had, another approach.

Now, contrast this S-show with New Coke. When that flopped, they immediately did a mea culpa and rolled out Coke Classic.

We will be reading about this f-up for decades.

Maybe they can get a group discount for inpatient mental treatment at an institution.

Guys in dresses won't put themselves in an institution, just like these guys won't either.

Why can’t the go back to putting real women in bikinis and mud wrestling? Budweiser has already lost tens of billions of dollars in market cap and has been downgraded. If I were a stockholder I would already be suing the board of directors for incompetence.

Well said. In the 1950s and early 60s the homos seeed to all be Republicans. The Republlican politicians stafffers were homo to avoid them having scandals with some voter’s wife.

The Republicans were live and let live. What you do in your own bedroom is not my business.

The Democrat labor unions especially were extremiely anti-homo. Things started to shift in the late 60s. But I can remember in the Jimmy Carter campaignn leftist Democrat activists in Chicago, anti-Dem Machine Dems were extremely anti-homo.

They wanted me to go out of my way to condemn and punish a couple non-political acquaintances because they were homo.

The one consistent thing about the Dems is trying to force their beliefs, whatever they are, on others.

The Republican stance, for the most part, is Live and Let Live.

Killing Roe V Wade is an example. The Feds have no constitutional way to mandate something that is not in the Constitution.

The Dems want to mandate and require others to fall in line.

Thre Republicans: Live and Let Live.
