The pricey and immersive Star Wars hotel at Walt Disney World in Florida is closing after just one year of taking guests on a two-night 'voyage' that could cost up to $20,000.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was originally sold as an experience rather than a hotel and costs around $1,200 per person per day. One 'tricked out' suite has been reported to come in at a whopping $20,000 for the trip.
The immersive lodging, which is based in Orlando - and does not have any windows - will carry out its final 'voyages' in September, four years after it was announced at D23 Expo in 2019 as part of the parks $1 billion Star Wars land.

Sounds like a nightmare. "Stormtroopers would roam the hallways of the Galactic Starcruiser"
Oh come on. People go on holiday to get away!

Disney is infected with Woke. Woke people, even when they are not pushing LGBTQ, are incapable of comprehending reality.

I heard every night at 2am there would be a horrendous laser fight, whole place would shake, explosions, alert klaxons, tie fighters launching and flying around, the whole bit.
Or maybe I just made that up. Oh well, if not they should have done that.

That’s sounds kind of exciting.
You’re right. They should have thought of that.
Stormtroopers though... now if they had been the maids and/or room service...

And yet people think that the cancellation of the new campus is because of politics and not because Disney is hemorrhaging money.

And yet, Kathleen will be there until she decides to leave. She destroyed Favreau’s initially successful rescue of Star Wars and can now take a victory lap through the wreckage.

How many Americans did they expect to be able to pay $20,000/room/night, much less when they are antagonizing the American public? Drop in the bucket for our illustrious RAT leadership.
Besides, they'd probably be able to write it off as a campaign expense.
