Russia destroyed 4 Bradley Fighting Vehicles before any had been delivered, and every HIMARS has been destroyed between 2 and 3 times, they had destroyed 14 HIMARS when only 6 had been delivered.

Five launchers containing 4 missiles each is about what I saw in the videos.

Your article is an embarrassment.

Pac 3 is MODULAR. You yourself said there were three pac 3 systems, which I have also heard elsewhere.

The typical setup is 16 missiles per system, each system having FOUR launchers. (4 x 4 = 16)

So if Russia says FIVE launchers were hit that means enough launchers for slightly more than ONE system.

That would be consistent with reports that one system was destroyed and one was damaged, while the third was not in the immediate area of the attack

3 “systems” are much more than 5 launchers.
If you have seen the video of the incidents then their claims are much more plausible than the claims of Kinzhal shotdowns.

Deliberately omitted in this attempted smear is the Patriot system is shown impotent to stop Russia’s hypersonic missiles.

“Hey, you Russians did not blow up as many of our Patriot missiles as you claim” is not exactly a way to inspire confidence in Ukraine’s air defense system. A single Patriot launcher and its missiles are worth untold millions of dollars.

Ukraine’s power has become so mythical, many people will one day wonder if Ukraine ever even existed. I expect Ukraine worshippers will soon start sacrificing virgins to try to save their mythical powerhouse.

The following illustration, is a single Patriot system launcher that is capable of launching 16 missiles:

Each Patriot battery typically has four firing platoons, and one radar, so three “units” means about 12 platoons. Each platoon has about four launchers, so about 48 launchers. Each launcher hold either 4 or 16 missiles, depending on the mission. Either 16 PAC-3 (better for ballistic missiles) or four long range missiles intended for air-breathers, at longer ranges.

Russian Kinzhal Missile Strikes US Patriot System in Kiev + the Fundamental Disadvantage West Faces

Update on the conflict in Ukraine for May 17, 2023:

- Russia’s Ministry of Defense and US officials confirm Russian hypersonic Kinzhal missiles successfully targeted US-made Patriot air defense systems;

- Patriot systems launched approximately 30 missiles over 2 minutes, representing tens of millions of dollars of missiles that were already in short supply;

- Despite this, the Western media continues repeating obvious fabrications about Ukraine intercepting “all” incoming missiles and drones. The Patriot system falling victim to a Kinzhal missile despite firing upward to 30 missiles calls into question Ukraine’s previous claims of intercepting a Kinzhal days earlier;

- As Ukraine burns through Western weapons and ammunition, the West continues preparing to transfer other weapon systems including warplanes;

- European nations are preparing a “coalition” to purchase and provide F-16 fighters to Ukraine;

- F-16 warplanes have no specific capability beyond the aircraft that made up Ukraine’s original air force which is now mostly destroyed;

Ukraine - Air Defense Lessons

Patriot Missiles Won’t Save Ukraine - National Interest - May 9, 2023

Patriot systems are limited to pinpoint defense of major assets and are designed to operate in tandem with air defenses engaging targets at higher and lower altitudes. Without these additions, Patriot will have too many threats to engage and the result will either be porous coverage that doesn’t protect its defended assets, or coverage that quickly subsides when Patriot runs out of interceptors. Moreover, Patriot systems are themselves vulnerable. Operating a Patriot radar system gives away its location, making it an open target for Russian attacks. This means that Patriot is not a one-stop-shop for defending Ukraine’s military assets or its people.

Those facts were proven last night.

War Monitor @WarMonitors - 1:23 UTC · May 16, 2023
⚡️I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but after careful review of this video, it appears that the air defence battery (most likely patriot) tried to save itself, but failed. It most probably got toasted.

Those were expensive two minutes for the 'West':

Fennec_Radar @RadarFennec - 1:45 UTC · May 16, 2023
I counted 30 Patriot PAC-3 MSE launches here.
The FY2024 costs of these per missile is about $$5,275,000
That was $158,250,000 fired in about two minutes. And as we see, the battery or something else likely got blown up. So it failed in its mission.
