New documents that suggest Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin offered to give Russian troop positions to Kyiv puts further strain on his relations with Moscow.
The Kremlin on Monday attempted to downplay an explosive new report suggesting Wagner Group mercenary leader Yevegeny Prigozhin told a Ukrainian intelligence service that he would give them the positions of Russian troops in exchange for withdrawing from the besieged city of Bakhmut.
“It looks like another duck,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, employing a Russian idiom for a hoax or a media stunt, lamenting that a “respected news organization” would buy into it.
But, ultimately, he declined to comment on the substance of the report.

Several U.S. and Ukrainian officials confirmed to the Post on the condition of anonymity details of Prigozhin’s apparent offer but declined to say whether they believed the proposed trade was genuine. Prigozhin reportedly made the offer to Ukraine’s military intelligence directorate, with which he has maintained secret contact during the war, according to the documents. Intelligence services commonly maintain back-door contact with enemy forces during conflicts.

Wagner is not liked in Moscow because its losses are too high and too many Russian mothers have complained to Putin about the loss of a son.
I’m pretty sure the US supplies information on Russian troop positions to Ukraine.
It probably is the reason why Zelensky always talks about an offensive.
Ukraine probably gets informed of every Russian weak point.
This isn’t how Moscow distances itself from pests. It’s called Siberia. Please tell Reuters to do better.

I then get LOL’d for bringing up TASS to which I then responded they are an idiot for LOLing me over that because their Newsweek article cites TASS and they essentially can’t have it both ways.
If the info from TASS isn’t negative against Russia, and sometimes it is, those with no sense of being against bias will reject it.

Secondly, I provided above how Marcus earlier cited Daily Mail on this topic and I provided an example where I went against a prior REPORT fron Daily Mail showing their propaganda, which I have not seem them repent of, showing they aren’t to be trusted.
So now you have to do the sane thing and show where HT is incorrect in their reporting here.

In any case, that sure was a lot of US taxpayers $$$ up in smoke. Vlad did warn the collective West. Also, he did hit six other ammo dumps in that particular attack.
