Rob DeSanctimonious and his poll numbers are dropping like a rock - I would almost be inclined to say, these are record “falls.” The question: Is “Rob” just young, inexperienced and naive or, more troubling, is he a fool who has no idea what he is doing. We already have one of those in office, we don’t need another one. MAGA!

Is there a reason he is going after DeSantis like that. I was thinking he could run as his VP. I know he is connected to the bushes. But Trump is having nothing to do with it.
I suspect Rob just wants some easy money. That and some position in a Trump administration.
He's living rent-free in his head.

As of now, when it comes to the GOP primaries I’m about 70% in the Trump camp.
And when Trump makes solid arguments, I listen.
But the name-calling does nothing for me. (Your mileage may vary.)
He put Rob in sneer quotes. Seems like he called Ron, "Rob", intentionally.
He needs a REAL WARRIOR for his VP who will do the heavy lifting for him. Who will be detail oriented. And not be afraid to tell him when he is wrong or just plain acting stupid. But he is also an egomaniac, and when one mixes that unfortunate trait with insecurity, bad things happen.
Ehhh, he did the same name calling with little Marco, lyin Ted etc. it’s just the way he rolls.

Really uncalled for IMO.
It would be more useful for both of them to tear down Biden. We need to learn the tricks of Democrats. They spend their primary time ripping apart the Republican and the winner gets to run against a damaged opponent.
Because Trump is not a serious contender anymore. He is appealing to a shrinking base and doing nothing to recover from 2018, 2020, and 2022 election deficits. He could walk to the nomination and be spending all this time appealing to the voters who left him, but instead fully invested in appealing just to his core voters hoping they don’t abandon him for a superior candidate. Desantis brings all the policy advantages Trump does and none of the baggage. Voters are going to quickly realize that after he officially is running.
Trump and his fans are acting like it is the 2016 election and not 2024. Calling the Governor ‘Rob’ repeatedly is just plain stupid.

Sometimes I wish we had polls and could vote on this site.
It would be interesting to hear opinions, how many of you are in favor of Trump’s ongoing insults of DeSantis? And how many oppose that? How many of you remember Reagan’s 11th commandment, and agree with it, and how many of you oppose Reagan’s 11th commandment?
How many of you wish Trump would focus these zingers on Biden and Democrats, instead of a successful governor of his own party?
And how many of you think politics is blood sport, and so Trump should attack one of his own party?
And how many of you think DeSantis is not the really the same party as Trump, even with both being Republicans, because DeSantis is a GOP-e type Republican?
My guess is probably about 80-90% of voters who prefer someone other than Trump or DeSantis prefers DeSantis over Trump. Trump needs a large field of also-ran opponents for as long as possible. If there’s a mass exodus after Iowa, he’s gonna be in for a fight.
