ABC 7 Anchor Ken Rosato ‘Immediately Fired’ Over Hot Mic Remark

Ken Rosato, longtime anchor of “Eyewitness News This Morning” on New York’s WABC 7, has been given the boot after allegedly making an off-color remark, Page Six has exclusively learned.

Rosato was off the air when he uttered the phrase, we’re told, but an insider told us his remark was picked up “on an open mic” and was “immediately let go.”

Our insider also doesn’t know what he uttered, but speculated that it could have been a “racial slur.” The former anchor’s bio has been wiped from the company’s website. His daily tweets from the anchor desk stopped on May 2.

He was fired for something he said off air. They interviewed his co-anchors, but refused to tell them what he said. A rep for Rosato denied there was a racial slur. He was wiped from the web site within minutes.

I'm searching Twitter and there is absolutely no news as to what he actually said but a whole bunch of Tweets wondering what it could've been.

He'd been with the channel for 20 years.

This leads me to speculate that whatever it was he said was offensive to very few people, but to those very few people, it was very offensive!
