Federal prosecutors have filed criminal charges against New York Rep. George Santos, the Republican lawmaker whose astonishing pattern of lies and fabrications stunned even hardened politicos, according to three sources familiar with the matter.
Santos is expected to appear as soon as Wednesday at federal court in New York’s eastern district, where the charges have been filed under seal.
The exact nature of the charges couldn’t immediately be learned but the FBI and the Justice Department public integrity prosecutors in New York and Washington have been examining allegations of false statements in Santos’ campaign finance filings and other claims.

Prior to the election, NYT and the Democrats knew that Santos had issues, that included issues that may be legal in nature both the NYT and Democrats withheld and buried all of it in order to embarrass the Republicans.
Santos DID tell lies….almost as much as Biden.
But Biden has many decades worth of lies.

When are you going to arrest “president” Biden for lying, FBI? When are you going to act on five year old allegations that he took bribes in return for policy changes while VP, FBI?

Santos is a fraud and I’m not going to spend any time defending him.
The problem is that the Dems have a massive infrastructure in New York and Washington to prosecute any conservative who steps out of line.
We have nothing to equal them. It’s been years. Why have Texas, Florida, or any other red state opened investigations into the Clintons or Bidens?
When are you all going to get with the program!
