Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R), who is mulling a potential bid for the White House, said on Sunday that GOP contenders will need to “go through” former President Trump if they want to be the Republican nominee in 2024.
“There’s one lane. And that one lane, Donald Trump’s at the head of. So, if you want to be the nominee, you got to go through Donald Trump. I don’t think there’s any other way to do it,” Christie said on ABC’s “This Week.”

Serious question after reading several fat jokes on this thread: Do people have a negative view of obese people? Is it a reality that obese people are slow, disorganized, sloppy, incompetent and don’t care about their work product?

This is the fake Republican who, when he was New Jersey governor, signed the bill making it illegal in the garden state for anyone to provide much needed and wanted counselling to people with unwanted same same attraction. He had campaigned on the promise that he would never sign such a thing. I’d say Chris Christie is an unprincipled “pushover,” but, in his case, a different metaphor is needed.

People do have a negative view of obese people. As a group, I cant say they are sloppy and disorganized.
But since the subject is Chris Christie, and the fact that there are a lot of snarky comments made on Free Republic, it’s not surprising that people are teasing about how fat he is.
The only way to defeat Trump is to charge him with a bunch of fake crimes, and get a corrupt judge an jury to find him guilty of a felony.
