President Biden and Vice President Harris took a quick jaunt to Northeast Washington to pick up tacos for Cinco de Mayo on Friday.
Their surprise and unplanned trip outside of the White House was to Taqueria Habanero, a Mexican restaurant in the Bryant Street shopping mall.
The president ordered a chicken quesadilla, churros and an assortment of tacos for White House staff, according to the White House.

I believe that the correct term is “Cinco Day Quatro.” At least that’s what the most amazing President of all time called it. If he was wrong, it’s racist!
With his questionable gains he could bye everyone in America a taco and a soda.
Pandering, thy name is commiecrat!
“Wait, Kammie, I don’t see any mayo here. You said there’d be mayo!”
Only thing missing from the pandering was both of them wearing sombreros.
Dios los bendiga.

Harris is busy trying to decide whether to use corn or flour tortillas to create a Venn diagram.
I Biden can a restaurant I owned I would refuse service.
My, what a difference in how the Hill covers this holiday and POTUS (or nominee in Trump’s case)
It’s NOT a Mexican holiday.
Chlamydia Harris is the befitting poster child of the immoral and degenerate Democratic Party. I can’t even imagine what the Founders would think if they knew that their progeny had sunk so low as to allow this reprobate whore so close to the Presidency. Come to think of it, they’d be even more appalled at Pedo Joe. Truly pathetic.
chicken quesadilla, churros? dat is not tacos
Who cares?
Did Jill comment on the beautiful diversity of Hispanic breakfast tacos?
We are all Breakfast Tacos down here in Houston.
The word “taco” is quite new. It originated from Mexican silver miners in the 18th century. Gunpowder was wrapped in a paper like a “taquito” and inserted into rocks before detonation.
“Taco” was a word that Mexicans would use toward Americans to identify their highly spiced dish using corn tortillas and eaten by the miners in Mexico. This is much like how the Korean food chain Bon Chon calls their “egg rolls” “potstickers” on their mainstream menu but the dish is properly called “mandu” among Koreans.
So all the meat, cheese, vegetables and whatever you like is what it morphed into about 1920. Hardly the Mexican dish.
