Just take the T out of LGBT
American Thinker ^ | 04/29/2023 | Pandra Selivanov

Growing up, I never had a problem with gay people. I never thought they should be treated as criminals or discriminated against. And with the exception of some high-profile cases of gays being over-sensitive to lack of approval from Christians, most gays seemed to accept a live and let live attitude. Even Jack Phillips, who has survived relentless persecution, continues to post on his website that “Masterpiece Cakeshop will happily create custom cakes for anyone. But like many cake artists, Jack cannot create all custom cakes. He cannot create custom cakes that express messages or celebrate events that conflict with his religious beliefs.”

The LGB community fought for equal rights and, by and large, does not seem to have a problem with people who don’t agree with them. Now, however, the trans movement is causing huge problems, for the heterosexual majority and for the gay community itself. Gay women are being told they are transphobic if they don’t want to have sex with men who call themselves women. Children are at risk of being pressured into accepting that they are of the opposite sex if they engage in behaviors traditionally associated with the opposite sex. Male athletes are calling themselves women and competing, and winning, against real women who have no chance to beat them. Dylan Mulvaney, a guy who makes a living claiming to be a woman, thinks it should be illegal to refer to him as a man.

Now people are starting to question if the letter T even belongs with the letters LGB. Maybe it doesn’t. Being gay is a sexual orientation. Whether a person is born attracted to the same sex, or the opposite sex, or both sexes, it’s a sexual orientation.

Transgender is not an orientation. It’s an identity, one that seems to be picked up for any number of reasons.

But they not only couldn't take the "T" out, they've added a "Q" to it.

Now it's LGBTQ. What on earth is the "Q" for?

Some people say the Q stands for “Queer”. The word queer is an epithet if used by heterosexuals, but is ok if used by homosexuals. Sort of how the word “nigger”, is an epithet if said by others, but is ok to say by black people.

Others say the Q stands for “Questioning”, meaning that some are unsure of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Years ago, people talked of “homosexuals”, or “gay”, or “gays and lesbians”. Nobody was talking about “transgender” in popular usage. Somewhere along the way, someone invented “LGBT”, to apparently refer to all who are not exclusively heterosexual.

A society which allows truth to be defined by individual opinion or preference has NO BASIS in ANY LAW.

That society is by definition LAWLESS.

We never should have caved years ago. Homosexuality was always listed as abnormal, a psychological problem, and treated with some success. Homosexuality should never have been accepted and given the same standing as men and women and traditional marriage. Having said that, everyone should be treated with respect, regardless of whatever issue they’re fighting.

You mean LGBTQIA+

Q is for queer.

I don’t know what it’s supposed to mean if it doesn’t cover all the homo and tyrannies stuff. Why it’s included I don’t know.

And another example of how preferred groups take a pejorative and use it for themselves, totally acceptable. Queer means weird, which indeed they are, but Q for some reason is good for them. This is just like nigger for blacks...don’t you say it, but they can use it all they want.

There are plenty of militant, leftist LGBs that have tried to force others into providing flowers for weddings or baking cakes for weddings. Or demand to be employed by Christian organizations. The same types the ruined Boy Scouts.

Q stands for queer.

I saw young people under the age of puberty with debilitating signs of chlymidia infection, and recorded a redacted surgeon’s report of excisions of growths blocking alimentary functioning. These could only be caused by older people taking advantage of youbg peoples vulnerabiliry.

RE: LGBTQIA+

What do the “I”, “A” and the “+” stand for?

Pretty soon, they will be running out of letters in the alphabet.

The slander and libel by these abnormal people is yelling out openly that everyone is so mean and cruel to them. There is zero evidence. Just like other preferred groups always slandering and libeling America. As if we were Moslem terrorists who really do treat people like that....oh but they are preferred too.

“What on earth is the “Q” for?”

I thought about that at the time and here’s what I came up with. Originally it was LGB. I can only imagine a scene like something out of Monty Python’s Flying Circus. They’d have a meeting and suddenly somebody would say, “Hey, wait, you’re keeping out the T.” “Oh, for God’s sake,” someone says. “Okay, we’ll add the T.” Then someone says, yeah, but what about the Q?” “Well,” someone says, “That’s the LGB.” “No it’s not!” “Oh, for God’s sake, we’ll add the Q.” If you’ve ever been around a bunch of hippies having a political discussion, especially after they’ve eaten the brownies or smoked the beer bong, that’s what it sounds like.” (I was only around the hippies once because you could feel them suck the intelligence out of you like some kind of intellectual vampire.)

This flag tells you everything you need to know about transgender activism:

They are invading the lesbian and gay movement -- wedging their way in forcefully. (You notice I don't include the "B". Bisexual is not an orientation. It's essentially swinger-types who like to have a good time.)

The transgender movement has NOTHING in common with lesbians or gays. In fact, they are completely the opposite of both. Men want to be women so they can date men. Women want to be men so they can date women. There's nothing gay about it. In fact, there's a strand of misogyny in the trans movement that leads many to enter transgenderism for the sole purpose of mistreating or hurting women -- especially in sports.

But as I'm baffled why more women don't push back on transgender mentally ill people, I also can't fathom why gay people aren't pushing back as well. Why would anyone want these obviously disturbed, mentally deranged people standing in the middle of their movement...?

As another articulate posted here states, libs are always playing with words and that is the only thing they really care about.

30 years ago you might be a transsexual (really altered your body), or a transvestite (opposite sex clothing). They want to obscure this difference AND seem to be delicate about anything with the word “sexual” in it. They don’t seem to say homosexual if they can.

Don’t play their game of controlling the language and the narrative. I continue to use the words of old. That goes for other preferred groups, too.

Well...
T is the same as G technically, so it’s redundant. And it is disinclusive too. Because if T is the same as G, then L doesn’t have a the distinction of having a polar opposite identity. And who knows what Q’s gonna want’s likely beyond the scope of this topic.

True. I don’t know much about your country, but we’re I can’t think of a single person who is actually a racist up here. Oh, actually, my horrible brother-in-law is in private, but wouldn’t dare say anything to anyone’s face. He’s the only one I know, but he’s a rare bird in every regard.
