Some people say the Q stands for “Queer”. The word queer is an epithet if used by heterosexuals, but is ok if used by homosexuals. Sort of how the word “nigger”, is an epithet if said by others, but is ok to say by black people.
Others say the Q stands for “Questioning”, meaning that some are unsure of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
It should be GLBTQ2. Everyone forgets the “2” - which is for the native American’s “two spirits”. (I’m not sure what that is - their version of bisexual maybe?) I think there are numerous other letters that get added on every year too.
Time to take lgb and t out of society all together. We now know why all of this was illegal in the first place.
