Americans can’t afford to buy food, so Biden decided that they also shouldn’t be able to heat their homes during the winter. After an “environmental” measure that would prevent a majority of the country from being able to afford new cars, Biden is now going after their power bills.
The latest EPA proposal would mandate ‘carbon capture’ at power plants. A study by MIT showed that carbon capture raises the cost of electricity from 30% to 50% depending on the type of plant. Another study by Australia’s Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis however showed that prices could actually climb as high as 95% to 175%.
Imagine your power bills doubling? That will be the final blow for millions of Americans.

All true.
Unfortunately the part about not being in the right latitudes or having a good roof/property is too true.
There will be no Elections to get us out of this. The Left will simply promise Stimulus Checks.
Here are a couple of ideas I implemented with solar. My goal with my solar project was to cut back on power consumption (and completely cut on natural gas consumption by going all electric) without cutting back on lifestyle. So I replaced both my A/C and natural gas furnace with a variable speed heat pump with variable speed air handler (works well in Alabama, not so much if you live up north). It runs practically all day, but almost always at low speed (which means both less kWh per day but also less kW demand at any time so that my home's total kW demand rarely exceeds my inverters' 18kW capacity). Thus, even when the A/C is on while the clothes dryer is on and the water heater is on, etc. it's rare that my total power load exceeds the 18kW that my inverters can provide continuously without having to pull the excess from the grid. Plus since my variable speed heat pump has a feature to reduce humidity, I don't have to cool the house to as low a temp to feel as comfortable as I do at 68F (again saving on power).
The other thing I did was replaced my gas water tank with a hybrid water tank. I ducted the air intake of the water heater from the attic (free hot air most of the year to help the water heater heat the water tank). During the summer months I duct the cold air from the water heater into an air receiver for my home HVAC (the water heater generates free cold air to help cool the home during the 2-3 hours the water tank is heating the water after our morning showers). Might as well use that free cold air to help cool the home so that my home heat pump doesn't have to work as hard. When winter comes I flip a wye lever to duct the cold air output from the water heater up into the attic (so that my home HVAC trying to heat the home isn't fighting the cold air from the water heater). Plus, the water heater runs at about 300-350W --- again minimizing the # of times throughout the year that my total power load exceeds the inverter capacity.
Stuff like that makes the overall energy system work better than the sum of its parts.
The good news nothing the democrats do “disproportionately harm people of color” most of all.
Bttt.

That is exactly why I installed my system... as a hedge against raising electric costs.
It has already doubled here. It will quadruple this summer.
A few years ago, here in Denver, the cost of electricity was a flat $0.10 / kwhr. Now with time of day pricing, can be as high as $0.29 / kwhr.
That rate has nearly tripled in the las few years and has pushed my electrical bill to $400 / month. Putting in solar panels now, turning off the hot tub (back is going to suffer), replacing appliances, etc.
President Xi has dementia?!
And of course, thanks for this too. Forewarned is forearmed.
