Donald Trump’s campaign has called out Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a new TV ad for “attacking” the former Republican president and one-time ally — and suggested the governor should drop out of the race before he even gets in.
“Ron DeSantis was struggling big time in his primary race for governor of Florida,” says the ad’s narrator, referring to the 44-year-old’s first gubernatorial run in 2018.
“Polls revealed DeSantis was failing so bad, he was losing by a staggering 17 points,” the narrator adds. “Then DeSantis was saved by the endorsement of President Trump.
“Trump’s support was so powerful, just two days after the endorsement, DeSantis took a commanding lead and it propelled him to being elected governor.”

Drop out of what????????????? He never said he was running.... This is getting demented
To: ChicagoConservative27
They should have an ad with Trump and Biden together asking for this. Why is Trump so scared of DeSantis?
To: ChicagoConservative27
Well, some Freepers say DeSantis is running, even though he hasn’t officially announced.
In fact, based on the loudest voices anyway, DeSantis is running, and those who say he hasn’t announced, are said to be hopelessly naive.

Oh please, desantis is running around the world running for POTUS and everyone knows it. In violation of Florida law, I might add.

“Unfortunately, instead of being grateful, DeSantis is now attacking the very man who saved his career. Isn’t it time DeSantis remembers how he got to where he is?”Trump attacked DeSantis first, during the 2022 campaign, which helped Charlie Crist and the Democrats.
Now Trump claims DeSantis attacking Trump?
Trump is showing signs of dementia.

LOL Isn't it? Trump is MAGA and MAGA is Trump. Like it or not, that's the truth.

But then, some Freepers say, that Florida law, would only apply if he actually becomes a declared candidate.
And then still other Freepers say, that the Florida law only applies to seeking other elective offices in Florida, and not seeking election to federal office such as president and vice-president.
So who can say which Freepers are right?

First of all to drop out, he has to officially enter the race. Secondly, Trump isn’t a king. This isn’t a coronation. If he is so confidant he is going to win the nomination, then DeSantis entering the race shouldn’t bother him at all. Besides, people should have a choice and vote for who they want in the primaries. That’s how it works.

Trump is MAGA and MAGA is Trump. Like it or not, that's the truth. That is too cultish for me.
We the people are MAGA. We made Trump, not the other way around.

Really? Where was MAGA before Trump? Where will it be after Trump? I don't think you are giving credit where credit is due.

No MAGA as you put it is greater than Trump. If it had not been what the GOP grass roots had been trying to push the GOP to do Trump would not have had an opportunity in the GOP. That opportunity was not created by Trump, it was offered to Trump by the GOP grass roots due to our unhappiness with “establishment” Republicans. Trump is a populist and an opportunist, and that is how he got accepted by the GOP grass roots. We created that oppotunity, he didn’t. He just stepped into it.
If the MAGA movement dissipates without Trump, that is our fault, not Trump’s and not anyone elses.

I’m getting the impression Trump thinks everyone in the whole country should feel beholden to him.

Trump behaves differently from other politicians. His whole personality and demeanor is very different.

Time is a rose colored glass for some. You and the rest would have voter for Jeb if there was no Trump. Spin it any way you want, but that's the truth. I would add that no man has been put through more and withstood more for this country then Trump. That makes you an ungrateful SOB in my book. But go a head and vote desantis, I'm sure he will be as good as Jeb would have been.
