A Manhattan federal judge blasted Donald Trump’s “entirely inappropriate” posts on Truth Social Wednesday — as witness testimony began in E. Jean Carroll’s civil rape case against the former president.
Trump, 76, took to his social media platform about an hour before the second day of the trial began, claiming Carroll’s case was “a made up SCAM” and accusing her lawyers of being “political operatives.”
He also called for the dress the former advice columnist wore on the day of the alleged rape to be brought into the trial — something that Carroll sought to do early on in the case to compare the garment against Trump’s DNA.
Judge Lewis Kaplan — who previously ruled that nothing about Trump’s DNA would come into the trial — grilled the ex-president’s lawyer about the post before the jury was brought in, warning that the message appeared to be meant for the panel.

My beliefs are probably like yours but I make a wider search for what the heck is going on.
That reminds me of an article in last weekend’s Wall Street Journal. The author, who has written several books, says it has become impossible for a white person (at least him) to acceptably depict a black character in a fiction or nonfiction work.
Too bad an author would give up on such depictions just because a part of his readership doesn’t like them.
Conversely, it must be impossible for a black author to depict a white person.
Even in a fake case with corrupt judges? Pitiful.

Kind of depends on the goal. Trump can afford a civil court loss, but he can’t afford to lose in the court of public opinion.
This entire case is just another proxy war with the deep state/uniparty.

On ABC News tonight they said it was the first time in history a president had ever been accused in open court of rape. I guess the “in open court” qualifier allowed them to ignore Bill Clinton’s rape accusations, which are actually more credible.
If you were a juror who has ever used a browser, and lived in New York City (I was born there) would you depend on anyone’s promise of anonymity?
