Anyone seen the lunacy on Instagram lately? I follow a few auto enthusiasts. But the suggested content that comes across is porn gateway. These "influencers" are scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to trying to attract followers. Is really sad.

For clarity, Prager is Jewish. He's mainly a champion for good when it comes to protecting Judeo-Christian values in our society. So most times us FReepers should atta-boy him.

But when we get into the details he may not put as much into Jesus' lusting another man's wife = adultery teaching as us Christians do. Perhaps we could make an argument to Prager that Moses taught the same thing as Jesus in the 10 Commandments in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 about not coveting your neighbor's wife.

To put it delicately...Mr. Prager is a political conservative, but he is also a practicing Jew, and to the best of my knowledge there are no Talmudic arguments against pornography, as opposed to the Christian arguments which are largely listed here.

Remember, the passage in Matthew 19 is in response to a rabbinical debate between Hillel and Shammai as to whether one can divorce a wife for any reason, and Jesus comes down to the far-right side of Shammai, saying that the only reason is porneia, which is more than just adultery, it is using oneself as a sex object--which is why we call it pornography in the first place.
