The FBI has opened a probe into an antisemitic assault on a Las Vegas Jewish teen with autism who came home from school with a swastika carved into his back, according to Newsweek.
The 17-year-old boy who wears a kippah is non-verbal. He uses a service dog to go to school at Clark High School in Las Vegas, the Jewish Press reported.
In the incident, the boy’s service dog’s equipment bag was also vandalized.
The teen’s mother told the news outlet that Clark High School refused to take her complaint seriously.
The mother questioned how the boy’s assistant could have been with him the whole day without witnessing the incident.
"Her job is to be with my son. If she did not do [the carving], I believe she knows who did," the mother said...

Before PC set in, I could see Woody Allen or Mel Brooks doing something with this.
It’s a peculiar story. Hopefully what happened will be discovered. Since Las Vegas is in Nevada, I am not sure what California is a keyword.

Perhaps she didn’t witness anything because the incident didn’t happen at school as the mother is alleging...

Likely it happened in the boys’ wash room.
As a mental exercise - let’s think about the kind of system we have, the ideology behind it, and where it is potentially heading - that gets the FEDERAL BUREAU of INVESTIGATIONS involved in a case like this.
If so then this makes Jussie look like a poser.
But the swastika was "carved" into his back. The boy would have cried and screamed while it was happening. And the assistant would have been outside the wash room, hearing his screams, and seeing his distraught state after he exited the wash room.
If this was a black kid you’d obviously look for a black person (think Tawama Brawley). I wonder if there are any Jewish people willing to do something like this.

I would prefer not to believe that. But anything is possible.
The assistant - she or he, I don’t know - was probably nowhere near wherever this happened. The boy is non-verbal, couldn’t tell his parents anything about the assistant or even what happened at school, and the assistant probably routinely just kicked back and ignored the kid.
Possible, I suppose.
The FBI doesn’t like others working their side of the street.
