The world has built up a facade of sexual activity that exists for very few people and many worldly people believe they're missing out because they're not living what they think others are doing in the media.
As an analogy, my wife and I might think that we're hopelessly dirt poor if the only show we watched is Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. We can't keep up with that. Besides, many of those people are unhappy anyway. And the reality is that my wife and I doing just fine retiring in our 50's with an investment nest egg that grows and living on a budget that'll be easy to live on after I retire for good in a few years (maybe age 56 or 57) and do a 4% annual withdrawal from our investments that'll be well above our expenses.
If people quit thinking real world sexual activity isn't like the phony stuff they see in the media where everything is about sex, then many people might not feel like they're on the outside looking in. Especially if they do things God's way, which research shows the people who have sex the most frequently are the people who are Christian, married, and attend church regularly.
That makes sense.
