In my entire life I have never met or know anyone killed by a gun or threatened by a gun.
I guess I must be hanging out in the wrong places.

Thirty-four percent of black adults reported having a family member who was killed by a firearmWhat's not to believe. They only polled Democratic strongholds in large cities.

Well that sounds about right considering the black population of America and their love for violent crime. Plus are they counting “suicide” ? Seems unfair since the person would have probably offed themselves some other way …and now we are suppose to support “end of life” care.

“The study also found that people of color were disproportionately impacted by gun violence, with three in 10 black adults and one-fifth of Hispanic respondents saying they have witnessed someone being shot”
That’s not surprising, given how welfare dependency, illiteracy, drug abuse, fatherless families, and other related things play that kind of role in African American culture and society (as well as Hispanic to a smaller extent).

Americans who are black probably account for half of the stat. And the killers will be high 80s to low 90s percent black. Many of those will be gang related.

I am not buying into this. They have to include suicide to get their shocking numbers.
Take suicide out of the equation and you’ll find that very few white people have a family member killed by gun violence while the black numbers will more or less stay the same.

If it’s true....unlikely,IMO...it’s gotta be 9 out of 10 blacks and 8 out of 10 Hispanics.

Nope. I don’t know what fake statistics they are using to come up with this BS, but nope.
Unless they are only surveying the inner city, in which case, it would likely be higher.

Those evil guns!
We should make it illegal town them.
Or just make it illegal to kill people.
Look at how good it worked making drugs illegal... we have no more drug problems!

“three in 10 black adults and one-fifth of Hispanic respondents saying they have witnessed someone being shot.”
Were the witnesses able to get descriptions of the shooters?
The reason I ask is that many press accounts just describe the shooters as “pedestrians”, or “motorists” or “food shoppers” or “youths.”
If there were valid descriptions of people doing the killings maybe researchers could begin to put two and two together.
