Any Chicago employee who got laid off and was forced to move to find another job will one day look back and smile.
First step should be to move their Corporate HQ out of Chicago
Here come the Robots! Or, at least more of them.
All those mega horned pickets from socialist rabble rousers demanding $18. per hour + the COVID slump is a big reason.
Might we hear the word ‘racism’? Idk, just throwing it out...
Or from any other classified group...?
What the heck is an equity grant?
“Would you like some LIES with that?”
I wonder if those cuts affect folks in the “Diversity” department?
If the brand is so strong, how come the picture in the article has no golden arches?
They sure won’t make up any loss on their milkshakes
Lower your prices or you’re doomed.
Just too expensive for what used to be bargain priced food.
I hope they get rid of the bozo that thought up the prerecorded message at the drive through machine that sounds like someone taking your order by asking a question. Will you be ordering with your app today? or, would you like to try our new bacon double cheeseburger? I don’t like being fooled.
We were going to go into a McDonald’s the other night when we realized our pizza place was closing soon ...none of us had been to a Micky D’s in a while.
When we got there we realized it was a big blocky building with virtually no place to gather and sit inside, because it was really just a large, faceless robotic machine in a brick shell with one or two people inside whose jobs seem to be nothing more than reaching for cash and putting lids on the drinks.
I mostly quit going to fast food places( except Steak n Shake) in the 90s when places like McDonald’s and Wendys started omitting ketchup from orders , making you ask for it. Deliberately providing bad service rather than a couple of ketchup packets was a stupid idea to save money. They could have economized by simply having their employees include a reasonable amount of condiments- instead they let them give you 16 to 20 packets for one order of fries IF you remember to ask for any catsup at all, and none if you forget.
Worse, so many places got woke and started serving drinks in cups that do not keep drinks cold, so the already over diluted contents quickly get warm and watery on hot days.
Steak n Shake remained my only go to place simply because they were the only fast food joint that still served drinks in foam cups and usually they didn’t water the soda down as much as everyone else.
But then when covid hit the supply chain got messed up and they had a hard time getting cups.
What are equity grants? Can I get one? I like equity so I would like my equal share of the free money for just being here.

OK, next comes Ronald McDonald dancing as a drag queen.
I don’t care for mickey d’s food. But, I have to say that their Ronald mcdonald house is a huge blessing.
My granddaughter had need of them acouple weeks ago when she had her twins by c-section. The babies needed time in the nicu and she herself nearly died due to a particular health issue.
Rmdh opened to them along with the older children. They were treated very well and were amazed by the help they received which included rooms, bed, bedding, meals, package of personal care items appropriate for the individuals, playground for young children and blankets everyone could take home.
I mention this because they have thatchange box at the payment window, and they really do help in a big way.
I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes, but rmdh is good so I hope they don’t reduce those services.
Until I received this firsthand onfo, I had no Idea that they actually took good care of families, so now you know, too.
Even if you don’t eat their food, it doesn’t hurt to drop swing through for a coffee or cool beverage and drop a few coins in the box from time to time.
Inflation is killing the take away food places McDonald’s Sub Way carl’s and many more and the states that add the fuel to the fire with $15.00 an hour wages.
When democrats rule you always know what to expect.
No kinko boxes.
Just used drive through plastic bags.
