The times require looking beyond what would normally occur, because we are under assault if you still have not realized that fact, or are in denial of that fact. Red state governors should deny the federal government access to their guardsmen.

This is a routine training exercise, they are not being sent to attack Russia as you keep saying, and they don’t exist for or have a role in domestic riots.
The role of a state's National Guard in the United States is to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasion, as required by the Constitution. It is generally called up for these tasks.
While the governor generally has been the one who dictates control over his state's national guard, but the president can & does override a governor's authority.
I spent several years in the National Guard, I know about it but I can’t figure out what your rants are about, they don’t make sense and you can’t seem to explain them.
I'm explaining clearly & distinctly, you are just refusing to see the new realities. I can't help you with that. You have to start seeing the new reality for yourself, and forget about what you personally experienced. I flew into Tuzla, Bosnia in a C-130 in 1995. The Serbs painting the aircraft with their SAM radar across border, as, I found out later, they always did.
We were part of a big team doing security work and since the pilots had a full load of passengers, they thought they’d be funny...
Anyway, we heard the missile lock radar warning going off (very loud!) and they dropped about 1000 feet at the same time. I was not far from the cockpit and thought we were going down. Just as I was about to scream like a little girl (many had already, so I don’t think I’d be alone), they leveled out. I heard chuckling from up front.
Yeah. Funny. Ha-ha, Captain.
But they won't. Ping me on July 1st and we can discuss then.

When I went on that REFORGER mission, we started in C-130’s (Madison, WI to Maine, stopped in the Azores for re-fueling, then touched down somewhere (forget where; Spain?) before Germany.
Then, they put us in teeny-tiny puddle jumpers and of course, we hit a thunderstorm, so it was a pretty rocky ride with many getting sick.
When we landed, my 1Sgt was there to greet us, and even though it was pouring, I got on my hands and knees and kissed the ground, LOL!
