Chinese Ambassador to the European Union, Fu Cong, has confirmed that China will not recognize the Ukrainian territories taken over by Russia during its military operation in Ukraine. “China does not recognize Crimea as Russian, as well as other territories of Ukraine that became part of the Russian Federation,” he emphasized.

According to Cong, the statement about “boundless friendship” between China and Russia is merely a “rhetorical device, nothing more.” Recently, Chinese leader Xi Jinping traveled to Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and discuss issues of shared concern, including the Ukraine-Russia war.

Cong underscored that China “does not support the war in Ukraine” and seeks to achieve a peaceful settlement of the conflict. This statement comes after China proposed a twelve-point document outlining a framework for conflict resolution.

What a diplomatic coup. China will not recognize russian held ukrainian territories. How many idiots will fall for this.

This is the shiny object for globalists to make a fuss over. China don’t care one way or the other. While the globalist are kissing chinas ass, china is stealing them blind.

Also keep in mind that there are still internal divisions in China, with many Still trying to overthrow XI and the hardliners, with direct Western support (color revolution).

China’s always been about China’s interests. Anything else is just a temporary arrangement of convenience.

I suspect the subtext on this is...

Keep pumping money in to the Ukrain coinflict.

We (China) are making a killing off of it.

It distracts from all the stuff China is doing.

It depleats potential enemies stores for when they grab Taiwan.

It means more Russian gas, at cheaper prices for China.

And as soon as Russia wins, China can say “Congratulations Comrades!”

In an hourlong interview ahead of a European diplomatic mission to Beijing, China’s ambassador to the European Union said that critics had misinterpreted his country’s relationship with Russia, and suggested their ties may not be as limitless as their leaders once declared.

The Chinese ambassador, Fu Cong, spoke with The New York Times before Presidents Emmanuel Macron of France and Ursula von der Leyen of the European Commission travel to China on Wednesday for a three-day trip.

The ambassador downplayed Russia and China’s declaration of a “no limits” friendship last year.

He defended the fact that Mr. Xi has not yet called President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine.

China will not provide arms for Russia to use in Ukraine now or in the future, the ambassador said.

The ambassador said a speech by the European Commission president revealed incoherence in E.U. policy toward China.

Mr. Fu suggested China was open to a deal with Europe on sanctions and investment.

The ambassador urged Europe to carve out its own policies distinct from the U.S., striking a key Chinese talking point.
