Trade between India and Malaysia is now able to be settled with Indian Rupees, the India Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced in a statement Saturday.

This move strikes a blow to the hegemony US dollar. “This initiative by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is aimed at facilitating the growth of global trade and to support the interests of the global trading community in Indian Rupees (INR),” the statement from the MEA reads.

The dollar is a creation of the US Congress, using authority granted to it by the People of the united States.

It should not be used as a world currency, the costs to us in the long run are very bad.

The people printing money are causing the failure, not those wanting to stop it.

Nobody is cheering for America’s downfall. We are just recognizing the consequences of what Americans have done to themselves. Recognizing what was done and talking about it is not cheering it on.

Do you think that putting our heads in the sand and not talking about what is coming is proof of patriotism?

There is a difference between America and what is happening out of DC.

You and your 'friends' are about the demise of America. How many pieces of silver are you getting paid for it, Judas?

What have I said that you consider to be stupider than a 6th grader?

It’s a fact that America gets a deal on interest rates because it is considered a reserve currency. American politicians and electorate have abused this notion in order to live an unaffordable lifestyle and push the costs of their lifestyles onto future generations.

Now that America may be losing its reserve status, America has to sell its debt at the market rate and not the preferential status rate. That means your interest may double in order to attract buys of your debt. This means the interest on the debt may rise to as much as $1.5 trillion/year, which is spending that will have to be done through either tax increases and/or spending cuts on everything else.

It’s going to hurt.

“US is weaponizing US Dollar. only stupid people would uses it.”

As is shown by the flight of country after country away from the US Dollar. I think what’s making them really hurry up is the next Neocon ‘project’, that being China. We’ll basically DEMAND that the rest of the world join our upcoming sanctions on China, or we’ll seize their dollar holdings.

"Nobody is cheering for America’s downfall. We are just recognizing the consequences of what Americans have done to themselves."

This comment seems to prove what user TTFX was saying.

What Americans have "done to themselves"? Really? How about what progressives have done to us? Against our will. We didn't ask progressives to spend us 35 trillion into the hole. (And that doesn't even include the unfunded liabilities)

The progressives did this to us. Some acknowledgement of that fact is step number one.

Whoops. I cut and paste the wrong user. Meant to include user canuck_conservative’s comment, not TTFX.

See the above post. (30)

There have been more than enough Freepers that balk at reducing or eliminated social security, because they paid into it. That’s an example of self-sabotage that goes beyond liberalism.

I completely agree with you that it has been mostly liberal’s responsibility for destroying America.

Apologies accepted.
I wasn’t offended, because has their opinion. I was just wondering within my opinion what it was that shouldn’t have been posted.

I am sorry for the road that America is going to go down. It’s going to be hardest on those who haven’t had the opportunity to live most of their life like their we have.

Another move to undercut the US by one of our enemies. No surprise.

The approach is to stop dealing with our enemies—India and China. All we’ve done is make them stronger at our expense.

“There have been more than enough Freepers that balk at reducing or eliminated social security, because they paid into it. That’s an example of self-sabotage that goes beyond liberalism.”

Agreed. They have made it clear there is no lock box, SS is just a slush fund. And we can’t let it go. That’s far from the only example. I too remember feeling disheartened toward the end of the Tea Party era when people left and right felt the best thing they could do was sit down. In the face of Common Core even.

That sitting down basically paved the way for all of the drag queens in schools now.

Our guys taught the progressives that we won’t even defend our own children.

BUT! Just because the average person values their job first and foremost and can’t be bothered to get involved for long periods of time, that is still no _excuse_ _whatever_ for progressives attacking.

The attacker is always the starting point, and the attacker always deserves to be called the guilty party.

No matter what, progressivism is to blame first and foremost.

India is now our enemy, too?

I can’t keep up these days.

Anyone have a score card lying around?

Or should the fact that we wake up every day with a new ‘enemy’ tell us something?

The USA has been taken over by communist degenerates, who are using the US's influence to force perversion down the throats of the rest of the world, not to mention the mass death. We should already have corrected the situation, but since we haven't, it is better that the US falls than continues its evil.

We debase our fiat currency daily and steal other nations’ savings in our currency.

Dead currency walking.
