PALM SUNDAY

Matthew 21.1 - 11

1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

Hey there, radu!

Today, as I told hubby, was the perfect spring day. Temperature no higher than 80. Very little wind. Sunshine. Clear air. I would have wished for rain, but it was perfect like it was. It’s still lovely out there. I’d sit out, but here I am. LOL!

After your night last night, I’m so glad that things finally calmed down. Hope the temps are nice, too.

It IS beautiful up there today. There’s some haziness to the west but the rest of the sky is so bright blue.
A couple of the Lake Hood chatters who live in Anchorage were complaining today about their dirty cars. They said pretty much the same as you did about the conditions of the streets and like you, they’re going to wait a while longer before washing their cars. If the drains are melting, that will lessen the time y’all have to wait. Y’all had a LOT of snow over the winter.

It sounds like you had a delightful day. I’ll bet the kitties enjoyed a day without wind whipping.

It was warm and sunny here but the wind roared all day. I was outside most of the day while the guys who were here to buy stuff dug through the outbuildings. I was more than ready to get out of the wind by the time they left late this afternoon.

Warm today but going down into the 30s overnight. brrrrrrr

We were all happy! I didn’t see much of the kitties, but I’m sure they were doing kitty stuff without the wind ruffling their fur all day Tomorrow it’s supposed to be about 84, but the wind will start again. Bah!

I can’t believe it’s going to be in the 30s there tonight. Brrr is right! I think we’re now completely out of the freeze zone. Of course, Easter hasn’t gotten here yet, so anything is possible.

I hope the kitties were able to thoroughly inspect their territories today. Never know if interlopers will try to take over while your cats are hunkered down, hiding from the wind. LOL

I knew it would be cold tonight but the good thing is it’s just one night. Might have a little frost though. Not good but not unexpected. We’ll have a few chilly nights over the next week but not like tonight.

I’m sure they have been, but it hasn’t worked very well. We have 3 strays that will NOT take shoo or scoot or being chased for an answer. sigh. They just keep showing up. And eat my kitties’ food. But what can I do. For all I know, my kitties go to their house for a snack. LOL!

I hope you don’t get cold enough for frost. You have stuff flowering that needs to have a chance to be beautiful!

Yup, once cats discover where free meals are provided, you can’t get rid of them. One of the drawbacks of feeding pets outside. Rotten luck for your cats because they get robbed.

Everything seemed to survive the last frost we had and it dropped well into the 20s that time. It won’t get that cold tonight so everything should get through ok.

One of the hazards, but these cat’s won’t be housecats, so it’s the chance I have to take. I hope the poor things aren’t abandoned, but so many are.

Good deal that everything should survive and maybe this is the last of it. Or do you really have to have blackberry winter? LOL!

Guess I’d better go. Early tomorrow and I’m not even sleepy. Poor alarm in the morning. LOL! See ya!

I’ve worked all day today and my brain is dead. I will catch up in the morning before getting back to work.

Hope you get some good sleep after your short night, and NO MORE nasty weather!

All you can do is keep an eye on things when you feed them and keep the little thieves away as best you can.

I doubt this is the last cold snap. April just started so we have two, maybe three weeks with frosts possible.

Good luck going to sleep. Be kind to your alarm in the morning. :-)

Dang! Sorry to hear you didn’t get a break today but I guess that won’t be in the cards for a while since you’re short-handed for the time being. :-(

I’ll sleep like a log tonight. LOL And sleep late. I hope you do the same.

We have a couple of good days ahead before the next round of storms. The next round isn’t supposed to be as bad as last night but that could change between now and Wednesday. Mother Nature does what she wants. LOL

Morning Kathy and Thank you my friend.
Car is coming along yet slowly. I work about 4 hours a day
on it. Lots of time consuming welding and rust repair.
But I expected it but compared to some old cars, this is nothing.
I want a good paint job so the base is crucial.
Have a great Sunday my friend.

Too cool...have you settled on a color? One? Two?

But all the work you are putting in on it means you KNOW what you want and will have. Happy welding and rust repair!!

And Happy Spring!
