Our Rights DC, the group behind Saturday's "Trans Day of Vengeance" protest outside the Supreme Court, has announced that the event has been cancelled due to a "credible threat to life and safety."
The event, which was originally scheduled for the "Transgender Day of Visibility," as designated by President Joe Biden, was widely criticized following Monday's mass shooting in Nashville in which trans-identified 28-year-old Audrey Hale murdered six people, including three children.
"This action will not be taking place Saturday due to a credible threat to life and safety," Our Rights DC wrote on Twitter. "The safety of our trans community is first priority."
They went on to suggest that the threat was "the direct result of the flood of raw hatred directed toward the trans community after the Tennessee shooting."
"Individuals who had nothing to with that heinous act have been subjected to highly serious threats and blamed only because of their gender identity," the group lamented, claiming that such actions are "one of the steps in genocide."
Or maybe they’ve decided they don’t need the event anymore, seeing as how they already HAVE their martyr in the persun of Audrey Hale. (the media is already busily spinning it as such. Just a little bit more, and they’ll be there).
So yeah, further attempts at creating martyrs are just redundant at this point, unless the spin on Audrey Hale doesn’t pan out.

I doubt that there were any credible threats, but they could not go forward with a “Day of Vengeance” days after one of their own brutally slaughtered innocent children and Christians. Simply NOT a good look. Claiming “credible threats” allows them (in their eyes) to save face and cancel the event.
But the threat was from them. It is right there in the name. Day of Vengeance.

Back in the day the only way anyone knew was if you ratted out yourself. Unfortunately in my experience they just can’t rest until they break the oath of silence. Such is the lot of those who are crying for help they do not want.
