A Manhattan grand jury voted to indict Donald J. Trump on Thursday for his role in paying hush money to a porn star, according to four people with knowledge of the matter, a historic development that will shake up the 2024 presidential race and forever mark him as the nation’s first former president to face criminal charges.

Told everyone earlier this week that the indictment was coming.
ummm..he didnt use campaign money...matter of fact, his lawyer paid the money, and just billed trump as part of his legal fees.
McCarthy, Scalise, Stefanik, Jordan, Boebert, Gaetz and others have already come out and made statements that they will support Trump and use the powers of their office to hold Bragg accountable. Trump didn’t ask for their help either. They just understand loyalty, patriotism, and justice.
Good one...
this new democrat party are communist agitators...obama was an agitator. This DA is an agitator. they hate this country and could care less the affect this has. They wanna burn it all down...rebuild to what they think it should be.
Only half a handful….real sad and maddening. We will find out in a few days if this will benefit Trump or not. Remember, the American people have a steady diet of the mediaPUKES fake outlets who constantly lie 24 /7. Honestly, I don’t think this benefits Trump but we’ll see.
Those are political animals. None of them have rallied for jan06 peeps, perhaps lip service or for , Assange, or the common man when it comes to the overwhelming force of government. Gaetz won’t even talk about the saudi pedophiles who received flight training in his backyard and the murders of our men who trained with them.
Chalk another win for the damn effin rats! Our top reps have failed us. This will decide if the Conservative Party survives. If I were a betting person …I wouldn’t bet the house.
Kind of worked up tonight?
The world is an unfair place. Didn’t your momma teach you that?
There were groups of six in the stations when they were worried about demonstrations in front of Bragg’s office and elsewhere and people were coming in to protest from outside the city. Now we are back to a scattered few cops here and there.
But what can the police do now anyway? Bragg has flown the coop and things seem to be on hold for a month. Is the thought that protesters will come in anyway? I haven’t seen anything yet about that. Seems a long time to hold a protest, especially for out-of-towners who need a place to stay. And we don’t know enough about the charges.
I’ve always said the drama of the circus wasn’t created by Trump, but by those who were attacking Trump daily: swampy democrats and republicans. They couldn’t stand that Trump wasn’t a patsy for the Washington establishment and that he couldn’t be bought and that he actually wanted to represent the interests of the American people. The nerve.
We must all keep him in our prayers. (My tag line is not new!)
Has he ever represented anyone in a criminal prosecution? Would you want to see Trump put his fate in the hands of someone who hasn’t been there?
Maybe he will surrender on Tuesday.
Palin and I parted company a few years back, so I don't care.
Trump betrayed her anyway by not giving her a cabinet position in 2017 when she wanted one (Energy or Interior for Alaska), so she doesn't owe him anything.
If that was your composition, you are one heck of a writer. Kudos, for a riveting post.
So exactly what jurisdiction or authority do these specific Congressmen and women have in New York City?
In my crystal ball, I see someone measuring Alvin for concrete shoes.
Stormy recanted the entire story of the affair in a signed statement. Look it up, it’s on the internet.
They keep pushing and pushing and think we’re just going to take it and take it.
