Howdy, Kathy.
Any chance for a breather tonight and early bedtime? Your poor brain is probably fried at this point.

Good evening, radu...you were quick tonight.
Are you still safe from ugly weather for a bit?
We have a possibility of snow for the next 18 hours or so.....too warm, won’t stick (she hopes).

Howdy, PRO.
How’s your week going so far? It looks like it’s been a little damp up your way? Have you had dry times to get out to do a little springtime yard work?
Our weather was just right for mowing so I got a bit done this afternoon. Still have a lot to go but I put a nice dent in it.

Hi radu!
Our brown winter grass has perked back up and turned green with the rain we've gotten but not ready for mowing quite yet. I just wish the temps would warm up a bit, still below average.
Not much else happening, had lunch yesterday with son on his day off and just relaxing now.

I had everything ready to go since posting time would be as soon as Survivor was over. LOL
Still safe from storms for the moment but it looks like Friday night could be a repeat of last Friday night. *sigh*
Today was nice so I’m recuperating this evening from mowing. The ground around here is lumpy and I was bounced a lot on the mower. The ol’ bum back is NOT happy.
I looked at the radar a little while ago because it’s kinda ugly up there. Yep, snow’s in the area and moving in. But there’s been a little snow the past couple days and it melted fast. I hope this does too.

To Do or Not to Do
I do not do the good I want to do, . . . I keep on doing [evil].
Romans 7:19When I was a kid, a decommissioned World War II tank was put on display in a park near my home. Multiple signs warned of the danger of climbing on the vehicle, but a couple of my friends immediately scrambled up. Some of us were a bit reluctant, but eventually we did the same. One boy refused, pointing to the posted signs. Another jumped down quickly as an adult approached. The temptation to have fun outweighed our desire to follow rules.
There’s a heart of childish rebellion lurking within all of us. We don’t like being told what to do or not to do. Yet we read in James that when we know what is right and don’t do it—it is sin (4:17). In Romans, the apostle Paul wrote: “I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it” (7:19–20).
As believers in Jesus, we may puzzle over our struggle with sin. But too often we depend solely on our own strength to do what’s right. One day, when this life is over, we’ll be truly dead to sinful impulses. Until then, however, we can rely on the power of the One whose death and resurrection won the victory over sin. .
Reflect & Pray
What sins are the biggest struggle for you? How can you rely more on God’s power to overcome their stronghold?

Lucky you, not needing to mow yet. I’ve needed to for a while but just started today. The grass is long and thick in spots. Fortunately, the mower I bought is a champ and cut it like a hot knife through butter.
It’s been a little cool here, too, the past three days but we warm up again starting tomorrow. Next week will be a little above average.

Good evening, Pro...is spring still on its way?
We are trying, but they say possibility of snow for the next 18 hours or so. The ceiling is certainly low enough, and it could stick til morning.
