U.S. Marshals told not to arrest protesters outside justices’ homes, documents reveal

Deputy U.S. marshals assigned to guard Supreme Court justices last year were directed to try not to make arrests, according to documents a U.S. senator revealed Tuesday, contradicting Attorney General Merrick Garland’s assurances to Congress.

Sen. Katie Britt, Alabama Republican, confronted Mr. Garland with the training package used for the marshals deployed to protect justices. It said arrests were “not” to be a priority.

Mr. Garland told senators earlier this month that his prosecutors couldn’t bring cases unless the marshals made arrests, and the marshals on the scene didn’t think there was a reason to do that.

‌ Ms. Britt said the guidance documents show they were directed not to.

“They were actively discouraged from doing so,” she said.

One section of the guidance specifically said making arrests was “not the goal” of the deployment, and another section said arrests should be “a last resort to prevent physical harm.”

Ms. Britt asked Mr. Garland at a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on Tuesday whether he was aware of the directives.

He said he was not aware, but stood by his earlier comments that the marshals were still able to act.

Garland was Obama’s nominee for the Supreme Court.

He is an obamabot.

Like AG Janet Reno blocking the FBI from investigating or charging senior members of the Administration, and only accepting referrals if the FBI had proof of a crime (no mere evidence).

The Democrats are using our government’s agency against us the people. They want a insurrection and if it comes it will be they that created it!

If we somehow forced Garland out as AG, Lisa Monaco would be just as bad. Biden hates America and so do his nominees.

See #28. Garland has converted the DOJ to the Sondergerichte, but you don’t really think 67 senators would vote to convict him?

That can still happen if Alito or Thomas become seriously ill before January 20 2025.

Charge Garland with Malfeasance of Office, Dereliction of Duty, and Reckless Endangerment.

He’s a lying sociopath and a “ clear and immediate danger to the safety of society”.

I don’t think Biden hates America, I just think he loves money above all else and will do anything to get it.

“you don’t really think 67 senators would vote to convict him?”

No. But they knew that when they frivolously impeached Trump twice, and did it anyway. This is not frivolous. He committed perjury, an impeachable offense for a POTUS, let alone a mere AG. Stain his name. Make him sweat charges, too. Payback is a b!tch. Impeach anyone and everyone in this Administration early and often.

Am I being blatantly partisan yet? I hope so.

Garland needs to spend 5-10 minutes with some scary guys behind closed doors. That’s the only way you deal with a little weasel like that. Mitch McConnell effed around and found out that way.

My heart is with you, and I would be on your side, but my head has doubts.

Here is the way I see it. The reasons they got some political advantage from their preposterous impeachments of Trump:

1) Deep state, congress, media, and academia on their side. Trump forces had to defend. The enemy would not have to expend much effort to defend Biden IF an impeachment vote in the HOR against Biden passed. If the vote failed overwhelmingly, that might hurt us in 2024.

2) RINO politicians (this overlaps with 1).
