Chris Christie says he’ll decide 2024 run in next 60 days

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said he would make a decision about whether to run for president in 2024 in the “next 60 days,” and that a visit to New Hampshire, one of the earliest states in the primary process, could be a factor in his decision.

“I’m definitely thinking about running, probably make a decision in the next 60 days on what to do or not to do,” Christie said in a radio interview with Fox News’s Brian Kilmeade this week. “You know me, when I make a decision I’ll let everybody know.”

I lived in NJ during Sandy. During the lead-up, I was driving around gathering food, supplies, gasoline, ordnance etc. I put on NJ 101.5 and the Guv was giving a press conference.

Now, remember, this was supposed to be the Mother of All Storms. The MSM loves fearporn. And the Guv served up red meat about the storm intensity, the likely destruction, and so on. It was a luv fest.

Then, he gave some good info about preparations, manpower lined up for assistance. For a moment, he was an executive.

Then the moment faded. He got all Sopranos-like, and belittled anyone who disagreed with him. It went like "If you're at the shore, don't be stupid. Get out. You'll only regret your decision and maybe die. Just listen to me and follow the orders, ok? And anyone else who isn't taking this seriously, you're a dope. Ok, this is a bad storm. And stay off the roads unless you're with the press or emergency workers or else you'll get ticketed and maybe impounded."

FWIW, the storm WAS bad along the shoreline. For the vast majority of NJ residents, we had no power for a few days and that was it. No EOTWAWKI. Governor Blowhard then made out with Obama.
