CNN just received its smallest primetime (8-11 p.m. ET) audience in more than three decades among 25-to-54-year-olds — that all-important demographic — with only 84,000 average viewers last week.

Neither numbers are something to crow about.......................
Glad to see it turned off in the airports. Hated walking past banks of TVs all tuned to CNN. Much more pleasant now.
If it is on at my hair salon, I ask that the channel be changed.
Doesn’t matter, the Leftist media likely has its Sugar Daddies, starting with Soros, the Drug Companies, and the US government. They simply don’t care what the ratings are, as long as they continue to set the agenda as to what is discussed and how its presented.
Agree completely.
There are people that get more viewers on their Youtube channel.
People are tuning out because they can now see that all the legacy media on cable and TV is propaganda.
You have to look for independent journalists and they have few outlets. Rumble being one of them.
Who was surprised when that ignorant female democrat had no idea what substack was?
This is true.
“Glad to see it turned off in the airports. Hated walking past banks of TVs all tuned to CNN.”
That was a separate network called CNN Airport News. CNN paid rent to have those TVs in every major airport.
I wouldn’t watch CNN if it was the only thing on TV. I’m not into garbage, trash and communist propaganda. FJB and the slavery of Socialism and Communism sucks.

The Millenials do not have cable TV.
Just like they were the first to ditch their land line phone. They are the first to go 100% streaming.
My wife and I dumped cable last May. I will be 60 in a few weeks.
We did this because the only thing we had been watching on regular TV or cable were sporting events(NFL, The Masters, March Madness, Stanley Cup playoffs, college football, winter olympics).
Now, the first thing I turn on in the morning is YouTube. Today I watched a couple clips of Joe Rogan Experience. One of them with some physicist I may watch the whole thing.
Then I watched the first 10 minutes of Gutfelds show from last night.
My wife watches multiple shows on Rumble. The War Room on Lindle TV. Other than that we watch Netfix, Prime and a few other movies streaming channels.
I have thought about putting a digital antenna on the peak of my roof. I could probably pick up all the Boston stations if I did. Then I could still watch the Patriots games that are not on Paramount+(CBS streaming).
Most active Twitter personalities get 3-4 times that many views on a single Tweet. Our current news model is dead, on all channels including Fox.
Are advertisers leaving them? Just curious because IMO if the viewership is that low but advertisers are sticking it out, to me at least, it’s a good indicator (kinda validates a ‘conspiracy theory’) that the network is totally government controlled and will never go away.
Two of the most conservatives news outlets, Tucker and War-Room, reference CNN and MSNBC frequently. IMHO, by doing so, CNN & MSNBC are being presented as preeminent in representing liberals. Viewer numbers negate this presumption. Conservatives who cite CNN & MSNBC are giving these networks stature and relevance, which they don't deserve.
if you pay a cable bill you are sending them money every month ... whether you watch them or not ...
We are quite fussy as to what we watch on TV. Cable and satellite are definitely out because the high subscription costs go to support crap like CNN. Anything streamed that includes CNN is out. Anything that has excess woke/leftist advertising is out.
Our past Edward Jones financial advisor had a big screen TV at the rear of her office with CNN on during an appointment one time. I quit the bitch and went elsewhere.
BUT somebody at Warner Brothers should be responsible for this division to make a profit. They have a responsibility to their shareholders. Their ratings directly affect their advertising revenue/profitability.
CNN needs go back to just being a straight news outlet. Where they actually have correspondants around the world covering stories in Syria, Ukraine, China, etc. Broadcasting live from conflicts like “the Skud Stud” during the first Gulf war.
Nobody cares what Rachel Maddow or Wolf Blitzer say. Therefore, nobody watches them.
