Conservatives Rally Around Donald Trump Following Arrest Prediction: ‘We Live in a Banana Republic
Breitbart ^ | 03/18/2023 | Katherine Hamilton

Conservatives sounded the alarm following news that former President Donald Trump expects to be arrested on Tuesday based on “illegal leaks” from the Manhattan district attorney’s office.

Republican lawmakers and conservative figures and commentators said the predicted arrest of Trump, who is running for president in 2024, shows how the justice system is “weaponized against all Americans” and warned that the United States is turning into a “banana republic.” Even so, many conservatives wager an arrest would only further reveal the extent of Democrat corruption, ultimately skyrocketing support for Trump’s presidential run.

Show us the proof of the payoff.

As you can see, in post above, Stormy says there was no payoff....just as she has said she didn’t fool around w/Pres Trump.

So, buzz off and let it go.

You are wrong. 70% of Freepers have paid hookers and that includes payment for their promise to keep quiet.

This is the sort of ignorance that may doom our republic. States will send delegates with detailed commissions that define the limits of their authority.

Educate yourself.

Where the hell is DeSantis. Will he offer up Trump to that corrupt Soros stooge DA on BS charges if the extradition request comes?

This is the age old question.

How do you fight Evil without becoming Evil yourself?

As you point out, they have no rules. What has “take the high road” gotten normal, decent peaceable people so far? I keep hearing “Don’t take the bait! That’s what they want!”

And I agree, but don’t be surprised to hear someone at the back of the overstuffed railroad car yelling “don’t provoke them, it will just make them mad!” as the train clickety-clacks down to the gulag.

No way.

There should be half a million to a million well behaved
people out front of that courthouse, wrapping around for
a half mile in all directions.

The citizens have had it!

Reagan era might as well be a different planet.

They hated Reagan, make no mistake, but It really isn’t comparable. I wish he would have run and won in ‘76, and of course stay outta the bushes.

I know a little bit about it, but the regulatory state doesn’t follow any of the laws we have now (that they don’t like), why would they change their spots? This is the problem.

A lack of good strong legislation, rules, and regulations is not what ails us. The USC Title 18 is about 3 feet thick when printed out, ain’t it? They don’t GAF, that’s the problem. Voting harder won’t fix that.

“If the intended violent reactions do NOT occur, the case will help Trump in 2024.”

exactly this...
They’re trying to provoke a reaction so that they can push against it. Don’t take the bait. They want to invoke another J6 narrative because the last one’s falling apart. They’re looking for something new and they’ll have it if we react this provocation.

Keep your powder dry.

We can’t even legislate election integrity so how is a “convention” of the states (made up by the same legislators) going to fix this?

True. Any Constitutional Convention is going to include plenty of people like AOC, Ilan Omar, Stacey Abrams, Pelosi, Biden, Obama, etc. If not them specifically, then people like them.

The quality of this nation's people has changed since the 1780s.

What’s the argument the Left always uses? Remember
“Monkey Business”? “Oh, it should be a matter between
him and his wife. There’s no problem here. Fo-ged
aboud it!”

There are no racy pictures. There’s only her word and that
has changed a number of times.

What exact law did he break? He was running for office
and asked her to please not promote the situation on
media.

This really is grasping at straws, and if they arrest the
guy, people are going to be furious. They should be.

Melania is the offended party. There were no proceedings
in progress.

I don’t see a crime here.

If there was no proceedings in progress, this wouldn’t be
a legal bribe (I don’t think. Might be wrong.)

What’s the offense?

“Your honor, this Right wing bastard got away with something,
and even though it’s not illegal, it’s just wrong according
to the DNC and likely the GOPe, if not the RNC also.”

“We urge the court to string him up, at least five times,
to be sure.”

“The dispute is whether campaign funds were used “

Not what I heard. They want to CONSIDER the money a campaign contribution because he was running and the benefited his campaign; which is pretty damn thin.

If what you write is true, then an Article V Convention of the States can do no harm.
