I would apply this in the opposite direction.
Trump struck at the king, the embedded bureaucrats and the establishment political machines are the king. Trump did not kill the king, allowing them to strike back. If/When they ‘arrest’ him then they will forever refer to trump as ‘the indicted’ or ‘the arrested’ and they will hold him up for public ridicule forever forward. His arrest will be applied as the evidence and the weight of the evidence, his guilt or innocence is irrelevant. This is how they destroy him, or you or me. This is what modern warfare and assassination looks like.

I believe you err in assuming everyone that isn’t a raging communist is head-over-heels wild in love with Trump and are ready to risk everything for him.
Though Trump does have a good sized base - which I think you are conflating with the much larger general public.

What is odd is you. Trying to claim that interactions from a different era were nefarious. Business loans from decades ago for example (2004). By the way, business loans are not an indication of political favor except when they contain terms like Obama’s property loan/gifts. Business loans are made for profit to the loaner and leverage to the receiver. Also the internet is replete with Trump’s statements about Soros malign actions as well as Soros attacks on Trump since at least 2015.
For the most part Soros was seen as a benefactor, and not a threat, to society throughout the 1990s. Then came the early 2000s.

From my understanding, the DA changed some laws. He changed felonies to misdemeanors and some misdemeanors to felonies. So if they originally charged him with a misdemeanor, it is now labeled a felony.

I don't think "everyone" will support Trump, but I do think some people who previously didn't like Trump at all (perhaps even disliked him) will support him if only because supporting him is a blow to the Left.
As Trump has said, the Left isn't after Trump...the Left is after (i.e., wants to destroy) us.

If the illegal targeting of President Trump is not stopped and the perpetrators sanctioned, imprisoned or given such penalties as their actions warrant the USA is lost as a republic of law and our individual freedoms no longer exist. One doesn’t need to love, honor or even like President Trump to protest and to rebel against the abuse of law. The J6 imprisonments and malpractice are already roiling any American who love their Country and feel she was once a special Nation where Lady Justice was blind and corruption was prosecuted. It is not about President Trump although he is the target. It is about the rights & future safety & security of All Americans.
