But even if most of these came back, the country suffered another exodus in the fall of an estimated one million after Putin’s announced military conscription. We are 31.5 trillion in debt, I suspect your country isn't a s bad off because you have to live within your means. However, we Americans have been propping up many foreign nations, Canada included, since WWII by providing the bulk of security for you & Europe. Which is one of the reasons we are going broke.
I'm as patriotic as can be. I deny assistance to Ukraine for many reasons, but the top reason is that my nation has too many problems of its own right now for us to get involved in yet another protracted war. We just got out of two very costly protracted wars that solved nothing.

When this war is over, the American citizen tax payer will get the bill to rebuild Ukraine, if Ukraine should win.
