“Every day this proxy battle in Ukraine continues, we risk global war,” President Trump said. “We must be absolutely clear that our objective is to IMMEDIATELY have a total cessation of hostilities. All shooting has to stop. This is the central issue. We need PEACE without delay.”
“There must also be a complete commitment to dismantling the entire globalist neo-con establishment that is perpetually dragging us into endless wars, pretending to fight for freedom and democracy abroad, while they turn us into a third-world country and a third-world dictatorship right here at home. The State Department, the defense bureaucracy, the intelligence services, and all the rest need to be completely overhauled and reconstituted to fire the Deep Staters and put America First.”

—> you America-haters are up early this morning
You misspelled “administration haters”
—> And then what? Russia gets to keep their ill gotten gains, only to try for the rest of Ukraine again another day after Trump is out of office?
Yes.
Really can’t disagree, this proxy war will be unending costing trillions in America taxpayer dollars and tens of thousands of lives lost.
Not if you allow the rest of Ukraine to be a full-fledged member of NATO.
Negotiated settlement.
—> Anyone who gets the Jeb Bush endorsement does not get my vote.
Add Ryan, Christie, Bushes, et al.
Putin is no dummy.
Everyone knows that Trump is continuously harassed and defeated by his American enemies who will not negotiate. Trump has a glass jaw easily broken by anyone not willing to negotiate
—> Not if you allow the rest of Ukraine to be a full-fledged member of NATO.
We need no new weak and corrrypt nations in NATO.
We’re full-up.
Why do you think all those countries that Russia had enslaved either begged to join NATO or are trying to, and why are even traditionally neutral countries like Sweden and Finland begging to get into the European NATO, even eternally neutral Switzerland is discussing it.
Russia is the enemy threat to everyone, not the ally.

You’re still living back in the cold War, when we were the good guys. These days, the bad guys are the Biden regime and it’s allies in the EU and NATO — dictators in training who are spreading socialism, LGBT, and green economic devastation throughout the planet.
DeSantis? Establishment?
He's hated by the MSM, loathed by leftists everywhere, given no air time by RINOs, and even Billy Kristol's website dislikes him.
Establishment is Pence, Nikki Haley, Linda, Willard, Paul Ryan, and related losers.
DeSantis appeals to conservatives who want to continue MAGA without the WWE theatrics. Some people still like Trump's demolition derby style, and just like a Zappa fan must deal with Frank's anti-religious stances, Trump fans gotta deal with the 14-year old-like drama accompanying MAGA.
It's more likely that the "Establishment" theory is a leftist psyops, designed to torpedo a legitimate threat to statism.
thanks Danny
it’s just always amazing to see how many people trash America, and support a murderous warmongering foreign dictator, then claim that they’re somehow “American patriots”
FreeRepublic used to be a place that cheered for America, not against it ... SMFH ...
If the Klan endorsed Trump without his solicitation, would that torpedo your support for Donald? Or would you view it as an intentional act of sabotage?
Don’t play the fool, that post was about now, the current situation.
Those countries are afraid of Russia and are seeking protection as allies within the NATO alliance.
DeSantis and Romney both advocate so called entitlement reform (Romney ran on it in 2012 and got destroyed). It amounts to handing your savings to crooked banks and investors, screaming “free market” and calling it a day. This, by the way, while wilfully handing tax dollars to Ukraine, Iraq, Syria, Lybia, Somalia and Pakistan (to name a few). DeSantis is quick to say he’s against the war because Trump made it a safe position to take. You’ll notice he didn’t say anything about Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Somalia etc. (Quite confident you’ll find dozens of votes of him supporting each of these BS adventures). When Trump stakes out a position he takes all the arrows and when he has enough support people like DeSantis and finger in the air Romney jump in with both feet.Trump took the same heat when he questioned NATO’s relevance in 2015, said, when no one else was talking about it, that China was a much bigger problem then any other so called threat and that it was from a manufacturing standpoint as much as anything. Trump stayed clear of TPP, no way either finger in the air or DeSantis would have done that because it wasn’t “conservative”. Same with steel tariffs and other tariffs against the product dampers (I’m confident DeSantis doesn’t even understand this conceptually). Loyalty similarities— Obvious. They both begged foe Trump’s endorsement when they were in trouble of losing and Trump could have tanked either one of them. When it wasn’t expedient for them, they turned public enemy number one. In DeSantis’ case working with Trump’s enemies to try and destroy him. Pathetic and to me makes him less desirable than the Rats who attack you to you face.
Wasn’t speaking to you, foreign TROLL.
Trump made lots of promises that he couldn't fulfill. Most weren't his fault. He was still great.
Truthfully, I could care less about Russia-Ukraine. It's a distraction.
I want to hear how DeSantis or Trump plan to win/take back Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and Wisconsin. And I don't want to hear whining about Dominion or Deep State etc. - that's the sign of a surrender monkey. Without those states, R-U, bailouts, inflation, trans, etc is all bread and circuses and we get more Bidet.
Canada can kiss the USA's ass
That's not a criticism ... it's just the way our system works. The problem is that all too often, it DOESN'T work for the people who pay the bills and employ these political figures.
I would suggest that every Freeper should sit down and review Ron DeSantis' background carefully. Just list up to a half-dozen (or more) things that stand out from his biography -- Ivy League (twice) lawyer ... brief tenure at the DOJ ... career politician ... never worked outside government ... etc. If you read that biographical profile and didn't associate it with a specific person, you'd swear it fit the profile of a "Deep State" political operative to a T.
Now look around Washington these days. The place is filled with these people, and Donald Trump ran for office to fight this kind of sh!t.
Ron DeSantis is "managed," for sure. He will play the role of the outsider and the renegade while he must, but when push comes to shove and he's faced with a consequential decision in the White House where his principles are up against the financial interests behind the political forces there ... you can be damn sure he's going to come down on the side of Exxon/Mobil, Boeing, Raytheon, the John McCain Institute, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Until then, he's just George W. Bush in 2000 ... insisting that the U.S. should never get involved in "nation building" around the globe while the cabal of duplicitous @ssholes who manage him are already making plans for the country's next military (mis)adventures.
THE END.
