DeSantis was AGAINST the lockdowns, and clearly only followed Trump’s guidance, and request to comply. This has been pointed out to you multiple times before yet you keep insisting DeSantis not Trump was responsible for the lockdowns. Try to commit it to permanent memory this time:

Florida’s coronavirus cases kept ballooning, especially in the dense neighborhoods of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Hospitals in Fort Myers and Naples begged for donations of masks and other protective equipment. Young people started to die.
And still, Gov. Ron DeSantis resisted. The man entrusted with keeping many of the country’s grandparents safe did not want to dictate that all Floridians had to stay at home.
What it took for Mr. DeSantis to change his mind on Wednesday and finally issue a statewide order were a phone call with President Trump...

I lived in central PA at Covid’s peak, and our moron governor debated at a presser whether chicken wings could be considered an entre, and therefore entitle the ordering customer the “right” to also purchase a beer. (a teetotaler, his “mandate” was that patrons could not order alcoholic beverages in a restaurant unless they ordered an entre)
Nevermind the fact that, after shutting down PA state liquor stores, he threated that any Pennsylvanian returning from Delaware (where liquor stores remained open) found with booze in their car would be arrested by PA state police.
All these tyrants in a teacup should be stretched.

Trump quite specifically (and correctly) made much of delegating responsibility of the covid response to the various states; and you know this...
why, under, those circumstances, would there be a lockdown order with Trump’s name on it...?
This is only one issue. Trump, without a doubt, will win. Trump has at minimum 50% the vote wrapped up now. How many candidates will be on that first debate stage, 10, 12? The other 50% will be split. That other 50% saw how establishment pubbies were the ones who took Trump for that Covid ride. The vast majority of even RdS’s camp understand and assume Trump has learned those lessons RdS hasn’t had to yet. Trump’s pre scamdemic economy and his world wide peacemaking are well remembered. A democrat would have swept four Noble Peace Prizes during his administration. Before the Chinese/Uniparty bio attack, MAGA was a reality and was gaining momentum fast. Very hard to run against those MAGA results.

DeSantis ordered people in Florida to stay home. Trump was wrong in suggesting DeSantis make that order, and DeSantis was wrong in making it.
I’m surprised RdS is going in ‘24. ‘28 was his. I only hope RdS isn’t the one who tries to weaponize Covid against Trump. I know the dems will. I prefer Trump to RdS, but other than Rand Paul, RdS would be choice.
