So, as governors were fining and arresting citizens, Trump remained silent.
I guess if those governors were murdering citizens, Trump would have stayed silent to respect the liberty of the dead.

That is the type of courage and actions that would have been nice in a POTUS in 2020.
What a joke. Like anyone knew how to deal with an unknown virus that popped up seemingly out of nowhere and Trump initially had to rely on the so-called experts at first because there wasn’t any choice; no one knew how to handle the pandemic until later in the game.
And you talk about courage and actions as being a quality that somehow only redounds to Ron DeSantis. Another what a joke. How about getting rid of ISIS, killing off major terrorists, building the wall on our southern border, getting rid of lots of gov’t rules and regulations, lowering taxes, getting our economy back in order, lowering inflation, successfully negotiatiing the Abraham Accords in the Mid-East, buying our country a period of peace for Israel and with some of her Arab country neighbors, all ruined now by Biden.
The list of Trump’s successes are long and myriad, all while being impeached twice by the corrupt Dems, and being constantly harassed by constant phony court cases brought against him and/or his policies. And he is still standing and wants to take care of unfinished business for our Country. And you talk about courage and action?
You Trump trashers can only come up with as examples of Trump being less desirable than DeSantisas President are boiled down to he made some bad appointment picks; of course one never knows this until they turn on you or prove woefully inadequate in handling their jobs. Trump isn’t a mind reader to know they would go bad. Employers anywhere don’t know if their hiring choices will pan out. Then you fire or get rid of them if you can; not easy if gov’t employees.
Trump didn’t instantly know how to deal with the pandemic, just like everyone else in the world at that time didn’t either. These are really the only two issues you Trump trashers bring up over and over, as there is NOTHING else in Trump’s record as President that was not basically stellar.
Then you fall back on Trump’s personality that offends all of you little snowflakes as you turn up your collective noses at those very qualities - being Pugnacious, strong leadership abilities, has an enlarged ego (just like DeSantis has); too crude or vulgar for your delicate tastes. Trump was a businessman who dealt with lots of lower to middle class workers; mainly in the building construction trades, hence Trump being dubbed the blue collar President. Despite all of his money, he was and is a man of the people; defending small businesses as well as the large ones that provide jobs to our citizens in the thousands, millions. And you blame Trump for the very chaos that the Dems created throughout his 4 years as President.
Meanwhile DeSantis was in the Navy (bravo) and then pretty much straight into gov’t jobs from that point on. And it is easy for DeSantis to get things done with a Pub super majority in the Florida legislature and very little opposition or obstruction with Dems being in the minority.
Your choice of candidate for President, Ron DeSantis is premature; he is young and can effectively run in 2028. He is an effective legislator and his time will come, but he doesn’t need to stab in the back our former excellent President and the one that pulled DeSantis over the finish line in the FL Gov election that allowed DeSantis to become Governor in order to accomplish what he has done for FL. No Trump, no FL Gov DeSantis.
Get your priorities and loyalties straight; DeSantis is not going to win and all he is doing is dividing the Pub Party in two because of his I can’t wait ambitions. Because of this hubris on Gov D’s part, he will lose against Trump and will risk alienating a large portion of Pub hard core MAGA voters, in other words, the base of the Pub Party. DeSantis is about to make a big mistake here by running for President now, as he will find out in due time.

You can speak, too. The president has no more obligation to speak than you. The main difference between the job of the President and others is not the ability to speak. The President’s priority should be doing his job.
Speaking often has a very small effect. Anyone can do it.

I voted for Trump twice and if he is the nominee, I will vote for him again. But in no way do I support his nomination.
He did some great things and deserves the credit. But he also did some stupid and bad things and deserves the blame.
DeSantis would not be perfect. I am sure he will also cater to the RINO wing at times, but so did Trump.
However, DeSantis is fighting the culture war and governing as a true conservative. If he can just bring those things to the White House, it will be a net positive.
I do not think it will stop the WEF and Deep State from winning in the end, but it will buy us time.

Trump did more to EXPOSE the Deep State than any previous POTUS. What world do you live in? A fantasy-land. You are a better liar than the Dems. Didn’t finish the wall? Are you crazy? And Trump didn’t lose 6 elections; candidates running did, mostly because of the Dem complicit MSM press trashing our Pub candidates who chose themselves to run.
Doc Oz WOULD be in office if not for the MSM and the likes of alleged Pub “purists” like yourself knocking him to the point where Fetterman, a severe depressive still in treatment for it with a myriad of physical ailments to boot, won the seat. That and Dem cheating as they always do in states like PA that remain very blue.
You must think it’s better that socialist Fetterman is in office rather than a cardiologist Doctor Oz. A worthless bottom feeder rather than a productive citizen like Oz. PA made its bed and now has to lie in it. So the doctor lost and the patient won, with the aid of politically stupid folks such as yourself.
Early in the Covid game Trump advocated for states rights by saying states should decide their Covid rules, not by a centralized Gov’t policy that would have allowed no deviation during the early pandemic months, and Trump knew not to give the central Gov’t that much power. And the red states in general allowed their citizens to live free whereas in blue states they suffered for their ignorance and bad leadership.
Trump lost in 2020 because the election was stolen, a point you choose to ignore because you basically are an anti-Trumper. Luckily with the exception of the few Freepers of your ilk that swallow your baloney, most Freepers know the truth, and your candidate choice, as much as I like DeSantis on many levels as I live in FL, will lose to Trump. Then YOU will be the big loser and the rest of us winners with the second coming of Trump as President.
