And I’m supposed to believe all these trillions would NOT help social security stay solvent?

Seniors will have to be paid out of the general funds then. It can’t go defunct.

I hope you are not planning on living off the reduced benefit in your old age. I delayed taking SS till I was 67. I have put every cent I’ve gotten from social security away since my first check 5 years ago. I haven’t spent a nickel of it. I’m also putting away at least 50% of my current salary.

I could retire comfortably right now, but right now my job is not that hard and I’m getting well paid to do it.

It gives me something to do while I figure out what I want to be when I grow up.

Not only that, but we paid taxes on that money when we earned it. Now that I’m retired (70 years old) they are re-taxing it.

Oh, yeah, according to those who want to end social security and use the funds to support their free traitor projects and slavery.

During the ‘70s: “Elderly People Eating Cat Food!”

Aaaaaaaaaa!

;D

End tourism. End imports. Let’s have that war on drugs that never happened.

Can we get reparations? After all, they forced us to give them the money that we could have saved or invested our selves. We might all be millionaires by now.

"They want our money as she showers Ukraine with blank checks"

Don't forget to obsessively try to hijack every thread for Putin.

And that’s why I am taking mine at 62. It won’t matter anyway. I can take at 62 and bank the little that I work. I will be better off in the long run

Cutting payments will hasten the end of Social Security as a welfare program. First payment in 1940, so they couldn't even keep the program solvent for 90 years - that's government for you.

Eventually they’ll have to resort to just euthanizing everyone over 70.

They are already selling this as "Medical Assistance in Dying" (MAID) programs. Already standard procedure in Canada, the UK, and some other countries. Coming soon to a clinic near you. It will be "voluntary". Yeah, right.

You have a good point about COVID-19. But that virus was not really all that effective in killing off the old geezers. Not any more so than ordinary influenza. COVID-19 was an early prototype that escaped from the laboratory before they could get it perfected. It was never going to work anyway. They did not know what they were doing - and they still don't.

The lockdowns and mandated treatment protocols were a lot more effective at killing seniors. Unfortunately, the mRNA treatment has been really effective at raising the excess mortality rate of much younger people too. Since when did pediatric strokes and pediatric cardiac failure become a "thing" for doctors to consider in routine diagnosis?

It's the "vax", you morons. Stop doing it.

We have pretty much ruined a generation of young people currently in the military services with the mandatory mRNA treatments. Way too many of them are not going to make their 20-year retirement marks. We have ruined the life-span prospects for doctors and nurses in the same manner. I always thought we needed those people.

It's going to leave a mark.

These problems arise from systemic failures in the culture and will not be resolved by shuffling the Boomers out the door. Additional plans are required. That is the problem the New People must solve. And every generation must solve.
